I remember Doug way back when he was wrestling with a blow-through setup at LACR during a PHR cover shoot. Seems like forever ago, doesn't it?

A life changing event most of us can only dream of, not unlike...

skatinjay27 08-23-2010 07:21 PM

this whole "who is doug renner" is getting pretty epic just like the man, myth, and legend doug renner himself. I'm think being as it getting close to sema week and the optima challenge it only seems fitting that someone need to get some "who is doug renner" or "have you seen doug renner" (i recall a pic of him in the pretty pink hat)) or something like that, t-shirts made up!!!

Oh yeah, well I went on a road trip with him. I'd probably list it as one of my definitive life experiences.

BTW Rodger, I hate to break it to you, but that was probably just his assistant posting for him in your thread. Sorry, but I felt like the truth needed to be said. I know it hurts sometimes.

Matt

Funny how we all relate to this Doug guy with that PINK hat!!

fleet 08-24-2010 07:33 AM

Actually Doug Renner is not the mild mannered somewhat persnickety accountant he appears to be.

It's all an act.

Those who really know him, and there are but a few, know that the 'D' stands for 'danger'. He is covering up the fact he is a wanted man in many countries.

He's wanted because he has the rare ability to bring the differing political forces together and lead them in solving a broad range of social and economic problems. Legend has it he personally has lowered crime rates in certain instances by getting through to violent gang leaders.

His simple message...'Look at my life, can't you see what could happen if instead of running guns and drugs you ran 20's?'

chr2002ca 08-24-2010 08:07 AM

You see what 19's and 20's get you Doug? And you wanted 18's and 19's like mine. Yah, like, whatever man, don't try to make us feel better by pretending you want to be more like us and our tiny wheels and Hummer ground clearance. I can't wait for my next Goodguys newsletter when they notify us that the bronze statue of you and Apollo 13 has been completed and we can now all bring offerings. I'll be bringing a piece of rear wheel well molding as my offering. I understand your hungry 20's like to chew on it like beef jerky so it's nice to have some extra. (Similar to what my car does with rod bearings and the extra set I carry around in the glove box)

Hey everyone, Doug is heading to Adam's Motorsports park in Riverside this coming Tuesday. He's bringing rear shocks this time, so hell yah! ESPN and Speed Channel will be there and they're looking for extras to fill in the background. Here's our chance!!! Meet the man, shake his hand, scratch your head while you try to figure out how he runs so fast. Yes!

What? No, I'm not jealous, not even.

DFRESH 08-24-2010 11:33 AM

-----Immediate press release from Darren (Spokesperson, #1 Fan, and assistant to Dr. Renner) to all Doug Renner fans everywhere--

Good news for fans young and old alike--Mattel and the ever elusive, often impersonated but never duplicated Mr. Renner, have come together to create the most anticipated release ever offered from Hot Wheels! This special limited edition series called the DUBKING will only be available through select vendors such as "Dupont Registry, Lamborghini Motors, Ferrari, and Ironworks."

When chased down while boarding his Monaco bound Gulfstream Jet rolling on Rushforth 22's, Mr Renner made the following statement; "This is a good day for America". "My people (Mr. Akes & Mr Weld) are also currently in discussions with Hasbro for the developent of the new GI Joe Pro Touring edition with the Kung Fu Grip steering wheel".

Mr. Renner was unavailable for any further comment. I will send updates as I have them. This is a very exciting time for the PT community as it appears there is no stopping this momentum that Dr. Renner has ignited. God bless you, and God Bless America.

Darren.

elitecustombody 08-24-2010 12:12 PM

Man, that's awesome! I guess the Heidt's drop spindles and front disc brakes set up I got from his 69 Camaro must be worth a fortune now! :woot: :woot: I'm scared to even put them on my car now.

Really, that dangerous? And here I thought he was just a wanted for texting while driving. He has definitely earned a lot more street cred in my eyes.

Matt

His technique with these dangerous gangs is to get them interested in the Camaro, and then remove their will to live.

He shows them his 3 hr. long presentation centered around all his greatness that we sometimes are allowed glimpses of.

He keeps it on a notebook that he carries with him at all times. These hoodlums are so bored out of their skulls at the end that they forget why they're at war with the rival gangs.

You can't stop Douglas 'Doc' Renner...you can only hope to contain him.

I think this thread may finally surpass "Project Payback".

FWIW, I have done business with this cat back in the day...real class act! I just wish I knew what I know now....I would have had him sign at least one of the bills he paid me with and then would have framed it and hung it on my office wall!!!

You're a very tall man.

I got a pm, not from Mr. Renner or even Darren, but from Darren's lackey. He told me not to expect much from him when he posts in my thread. He also said that Mr. Renner and Darren would not be returning any of my numerous calls to them.

Well since his fame a soon to be fortune is all based on my Spray on Gap improvement spray that is patent pending. I will make him come get anymore of my product in person. I don't care if you fly your fancy ass jet up here or what. But your coming in person. Without that spray the gaps in your doors and your teeth will return and your world will come crashing down.

I want pics of Doug Renner with my family and a copy of today's news paper before I give him anymore spray. My Ferrari customers in his neighborhood have already called and said the spray is wearing off on his camaro......

Well I could say I used to date Megan Fox, and know one would believe me unless I have pics. So let's see how that check will cash now Big Baller.

It's all just hot air unless you have pics, For all I know you might be a Doug Renner stalker. You could pull your car up and park in his driveway and help yourself to the open back window while him and the family are away. Being friends like that is not the "LEGAL" kind. The Law Doggs frown upon these kind of friends. It's called celebrity stalking. :D :D :D :D :D

Now if you came and stayed at my house nobody would brag about that, Except maybe Megan Fox.....

fleet 08-25-2010 02:11 PM

The reporter covering Chuck Norris was just re-assigned by TMZ and is now following Doc Renner. :wow:

Update

"Megan Fox and Doug Renner spotted on the set of the latest version of "Transformers" where Dr. Renner's "Apollo 13" will be cast as the newest edition to the Octimus Prime Possie." When asked how working with Mr. Renner was going she replied "Let's just say that there is no better arm candy--nuff said". She then made a puzzling statement which didn't make sense; "Way better than the last fabricator boy from Bakersfield who I won't name since that would be mean". When asked if the last boytoy was handsome, she replied, "He was very tall".

More to come----

Darren.

Well boys if it's posted on the internet it must be true. I hate to brag but our boy Dr Doug McDreamy's assistant posted it here.

And you know what they say about "Tall Guys".

Man this has been a week to remember, Doug posted in my thread and Megan is still talking about me

Obviously in this upcoming Transformers movie Optimus Prime will now have 8 legs, hence his new name that Doug has secretly revealed to all of us. I'd better contact the Transformers forums and give them the inside scoop. This is huge news.

fleet 08-26-2010 07:27 AM

Not one to brag, his resume also includes choreography. One of his proteges performed Dr. Renner's signature routine in this memorable performance while Doug wept openly proudly receiving his 'Disco Lifestyle Award' .

GregWeld 08-26-2010 07:34 AM

I think I just pee'd myself...

I remember the good "Doctor" working on that routine. Very proud moment I'm sure. This was just before he invented the panel gap spray I think.
