no issues, other than completly removing the outer lip, and "custom trimming the inners,
we ended up using 2 deg neg camber, 3/16 toe out, and 4.5 deg caster and it drive beautifully, unloaded it from the trailer in Redding CA and drove it 250 or so miles to Pleasenton for the goodguys show. on the freeway "the I620" worst peice of road i have ever driven on. the car is wicked.

i really wish i could tell you how we did at the challenge  but i can't untill the issue comes out in January.

tones2SS 09-04-2010 03:02 PM

awr68 09-06-2010 09:32 PM

Was there one driver for all cars at the challenge? Or did all the owners drive?

Car looks great...love the pics!

crazycarl 09-06-2010 10:53 PM

I'm bummed I made it to the show on Sunday too late to see this car. I hear I missed it by about 30 minutes. Looks great!

had the car out for more fun yesterday, hit a track day and got to run with a bunch of "Imports" i doubt they like being called that??? too bad.
one of the local driving club had a bunch of fancy cars out a few 996 a couple new Ferrari's 2 of which expired during the day, one brand new 430 that drained its rad and an older 355 that backed into the concrete and destroyed the car!!

anyway we had 6-7 laps head to head with the orange GT3 RS and it was about a dead heat, very cool to see. the gt3 could not pass the nova it had a bit more straight away top end, and a bit better braking but all in all very close.

awr68 09-22-2010 04:10 PM

Very cool! Get those track days in while the weather allows!

tones2SS 09-22-2010 04:46 PM

Yes the car will be at sema, it will be a feature car for Aeromotive fuel systems they have really helped out with the entire fuel system for the car and it all works awesome so we are happy to be associated with them.

GHOSTDANCER 11-08-2010 05:26 AM

That is one gorgeous Nova!

ProdigyCustoms 11-08-2010 08:04 AM

I was really impressed with the Nova in appearance and performance. I have not heard the final placement but I think it did pretty well in the Challenge also.

I think we will be selling even more Speedtech once the results are in.

Good job boys.

MarkM66 11-08-2010 08:13 AM

lol i bet when you hit the "Submit Reply" key you started sweating

ProdigyCustoms 11-08-2010 02:29 PM

Well, I must admit I called it. In many conversations about who would place where I said the surprise would be the Speedtech Nova. Only a surprise to most because these guys do not blow their own horn to much and as I had some inside information and performance reports.

I have been telling customers this stuff is the real deal since we installed the first subframe in EmptyNest.

5th OVERALL!

at 2010 Optima Challenge

My guess was that they could Top 5 at Optima and they made me look smart!

I am so happy for these guys and so glad we are a dealer.

strtlegal 11-08-2010 02:34 PM

Got a hint as to where they placed...Very well deserved for Blake and crew. Great way to put Speedtech on the map.

awr68 11-08-2010 04:44 PM

5th OVERALL! :woot:

That's awesome! You went up against all the heavy hitters and a top 5 finish is something to be proud of! Congrats guys and gals!

On another note...it was great spending time with ya all week!

Jr 11-08-2010 10:31 PM

I didn't see blacks name in the Optima results...what number/name is associated with the speedtech nova?
