Yes, the BOS men rock. Building our cars there has been a great experience for my son and me. They deserve lotsa accolades. And Matt and Steve have been very helpful, too.

Its such a biiiiig part of the cars personnality.... I just dont get it. Oh, and hey, remember before anwsering....never say never!

:faint: I've come all the way up from 255s. No! I won't say it.

You don't have to say it we can read your mind :unibrow:
The car looks awesome! They do awesome work, and at light speed at BOS! With no corners cut. I love that rendering, I'm drooling all over myself. Glad to see it move ahead so well.

For various reasons, too numerous to go into detail here, I decided to pitch the "sleeper/retro" look and go all in with an in-your-face PT car. :woot:

Ahahaha....you woke up! Looks real good Bryan. Congrats buddy. Def (Best of) Show worthy. Looks like Profile 5s in the render...

LOL!! I TOTALLY understand my friend!!! Having bought and started my car as a full on PT car (Forgeline 19 x 9 and 20x 13 w 345's, air ride, t56, LS and C6 Z06 brakes and all...) and finally sold everything and went to Caltrac front and rear w adjust shocks and a BB w a 400 and a brake w a 14 point cage! I know what it is to change your mind!! On top of things... Car is almost ready to get out after 4 plus years and i'M looking at progressively turning it back to PT (wheels first then brakes etc) but slowly. as i learned changing ways costs A Mother fu/!*% lot!!!!

Keep it up thats all that counts!

She's back in shoes.

DSE subframe, Quadralink and subframe connectors installed. I think the DSE T-56 transmission crossmember is next.

Thanks guys!

Eric and Jesus have made a lot of progress finishing off some body work and blocking. Alchemy's in primer and I think Jesus is going to do a final blocking in the next day or two. Trevor and I are looking forward to participating again and it's been awesome to watch these guys work. They're very talented artists!

The DSE roll cage hit has arrived and is going to be installed soon. Recaro Specialists are on the way and should be here next week.

The car will be in paint in a couple of weeks! :willy:

Bodywork looks great Brian! You can tell that paint job is going to come out perfect...

Did you decide on a color?

waynieZ 06-30-2011 08:34 AM

The car is coming along Great Brian. I love that lower Valance. Here in Ma. we need front plates so I can't use one and they're anal about it.

Gandalf 06-30-2011 09:07 AM

Looking good Brian! I dig the bodywork. I like the RS with the SS hood - that's going to be a refreshing change.

And yeah - what up with the color choice?
G.

Gregg, you know it's too soon to ask

BTW Wayne, technically we're supposed to have front plates in CA too, but I guess we're just a little luckier than you guys in MA when it comes to inspection/enforcement.

Matt

Surprisingly, they seem to be much less strict here in Cali. I've driven for 12 years and never had a front license plate and have never been cited. Got three speeding tickets though.

Well, there are four really cool colors I'd be happy with. A purple, a black 'n blue, and a grigio. :unibrow: And a tango.

eenie, meanie, miney, mo.

"Purple".... you must mean "Grape", I'm sure lol. I saw a yellow the other day with flat-black rally stripes. It was definitely you ;-)

Moving right along Bryan. Bodywork looks good!

waynieZ 06-30-2011 08:22 PM

Patch Speeding tickets are bad enough but atleast you have to do something to earn them. I just had a brain fart, I was going to say I can't wait until my car can be in primer but it is! sounds funny to hear myself say that. Your car looks nice and straight.
