Pretty killer reflection in the trunk lid, of the ceiling 25 feet up. (Taken just after we finished buffing it, before installing it on the car)

Yeah, black is so gangster looking. You know....like a villian. :rockin: But, you guys are right, you can wipe on it all day long. By the time you back out of the driveway, it is back dirty again. :censored: But, I love it.

larknut 12-30-2010 03:12 PM

Is it just me or does the green lip wheels look good with the new color on the car? I know it isn't for mass appeal, but I kinda like it.

Haha, that is hilarious. On the next car we are adding a large 3rd brake light just so you can see it from the back of the pack.

Although maybe if you weren't looking in your mirror so much you could keep it on the paved section of the track! I've heard that's faster!

I better get back to work before you start yelling at me,

I saw this thing on the road before the Goodguys show at Texas Motor Speedway, definitely stood out in the green.

It would be pretty cool to include a bit of that color somewhere on it as an homage, maybe instead of the red for the pinstripes or something in the interior. Looks like you could swim in that new black, though, good stuff.

I would say have the painter sign the car in that green on the under side......

RS Chevelle

it would be great if there were some more pics of this car especially of the interior.

You can see some interior pics on their homepage (before the black repaint)

We are just finishing up the stripes on the car and should have some pictures of the completed product late tonight or tomorrow.

We ended up painting the wheels matte black centers with gloss hoops after all. The Forgeline wheels look great in this color combo!

conekiller13 01-07-2011 09:33 AM

I love the car but it pisses Me off at the same time. It sucks having ideas and no resources. That interior is almost exactly what I envisioned in My Chevelle in 2002. Damn those wrong lottery numbers.....

The WidowMaker 01-07-2011 12:03 PM

looks good. i too would love to hear what the finish was on the bumpers. i may have missed it somewhere though.

mild2wild 01-07-2011 12:59 PM

Looks awesome. Should attract some buyers at BJ.

Roadster Shop 01-07-2011 01:53 PM

Thanks again to everyone for the positive comments. The car is just about to come out of the booth so I'll have some updated pics before the end of the day.

WidowMaker - the bumpers are a flat clear

Van B 01-07-2011 03:31 PM

I have lusted this car since I first saw it at Motorstate in 2009. The only things I would change are to give it inner fenders and to fab up a tube for the intake so the filter wasn't hanging off the throttle body.

Good luck at Scottsdale. I see the gray Mopar was listed too.
