This one has made some progress lately now that it's back at Rich's shop... stay tuned for some updates soon. Kevin is a great guy and I'm looking forward to seeing him enjoy this car.

WOW :wow: :wow: :wow: that is one nice camaro. I did notice that you welded in a shock cross member (like DSE) and went with the torque arm, how much more wheel travel did that provide? Different shocks too ... yes?

That is a really good idea by the way .....hmmmm, maybe?

Thanks for sharing! :D

Rybar 02-04-2013 10:36 AM

I set up the car for the Detroit Speed leaf set up, hence the crossmember. I mounted it for the option of going Quadra Link. We are using the Speed Tech torque arm because it a cool design and its different. Just as we are using Gen II front suspension. Special shocks are replacing what you see here. I will post pics when we get em on. Wheel travel is about 2 1/4" at that height. :thankyou:

I love the Gen II stuff, its very cool. Upper arms have bronze bushings, lowers have spherical bearings. I recently used this on a Chevelle and it rides like a dream. The wheels and tires are off of One Lap Camaro. The front is 18 x 9 with a very deep backspace of 6 3/8. I have L&H Kustoms spindles now which are awesome pieces however the wheel has prompted a change to Ride Tech true turn. The tires are 275s. Yes, a limited turn radius. :thankyou:

Did you mod the fuel tank in any way for the mini tubs?
I don't see trimmed corners. :headscratch:

Negative, we may upgrade tank in the future. The exhaust dumps to the ground so it was not necessary to mod the tank.
