Hey Matt any progress is good progress! Nice job on getting the rear sealed up!
|
Well I've managed to get a little done lately.
Got the frame welded, blasted and painted. http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/...1C94F580_1.jpg Mostly finished my engine and started assembling frame. http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/...1B4CF5B9AB.jpg http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/...9AF915EE03.jpg Started cleaning up firewall. http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/...F405B04824.jpg Got inside quarters and trunk area primed and painted, quarters and tailpanel are almost finished. http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/...pscd286a59.jpg |
Looking good. That motor looks real pretty in there!
|
Looking good Matt.
Did you ever figure the door gap issue? |
Lookin great.
|
I like the headers too. Just what I've been looking for. What brand are they?
|
Thanks guys it's coming along thankfully!
The headers are hedman 45120's they also have them coated 45123 and 45126 depending on color. I'm very happy with the fit, nothing below the frame! |

What size rear tire are you running? I have a suggestion for better fitment if you still have the quarters off. It involves cutting and sectioning the outer wheel house. |
Progress is Progress and it's good to see it's still moving forward

Everything is looking great! |
Been playing a bit lately, haven't gotten a whole lot done though. I did get in on the forgeline deal thanks to Mike at Musclerodz.

Nice!
|
Not a lot of progress but moving forward.
Picked up a hood locally for cheap! http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/...EC63482B34.jpg Changed plans on the 10-bolt I had narrowed for this project and put it under my brothers 56. So I narrowed a 12-bolt using Millerbuilts housing ends. http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/...2F40C00F00.jpg http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/...741014B372.jpg http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/...1243BC1DC4.jpg |
Great build. ANy pics of the calipers f & R?
thanks,' Jim |
Who's pulley/accessory drive setup is that.
Thanks Craig |
So I get an email today about my project on lat G! WHAT?!? I Figured they kicked me into the archives or something since it's been a year since I've posted on here and no the car still isn't done yet 😬.
Anyways, the car is finally progressing. I've got a few more things to mock up, exhaust, radiator hoses, fine tune gaps after ring bros. hinges get here 🤔 Do the body work and it'll be close. The accessory drive if Holley stuff, fits well and after a little cleaning up casting marks looks real good. I'll see if I can find some good pics to post up. Thanks, Matt |
Matt,
Don't worry life takes over sometimes and we all understand. However I am glad to see your working on it again and with summer looking like it may come earl here in Chicago I may actually start working on mine this week. Quote:

Looking great sir!

Car Looks great!!..... The struggle is real (finding time to work on your ride). What solution did you come up with on the quarters? I have full AMDs that I will be installing....keeping my fingers crossed that I don't have to fight them too much!
