I'm thinking I'm gonna have to grind the doors to make them fit just wanted to check with the pros around here first.

I appreciate your response, I'll head over to nasty to check out your build right now.

Ya thats what I would do (grinding) had to do same with my camaro. Had great lines on 1/4s with the gm panles but the aftermarket panles need work to make great lines.

No updates Marty haven't gotten squat done, I'm hoping to get back on it soon though.

Looking good. That motor looks real pretty in there!

Vince@Meanstreets 05-01-2014 10:57 PM

Looking good Matt.

Did you ever figure the door gap issue?

coolwelder62 05-02-2014 05:16 AM

Lookin great.

Vince@Meanstreets 05-02-2014 06:44 AM

I like the headers too. Just what I've been looking for. What brand are they?

ma73z 05-02-2014 06:58 AM

Thanks guys it's coming along thankfully!

The headers are hedman 45120's they also have them coated 45123 and 45126 depending on color. I'm very happy with the fit, nothing below the frame!

Damn, Hedman and I have a very violent past. It's a shame.

What size rear tire are you running? I have a suggestion for better fitment if you still have the quarters off. It involves cutting and sectioning the outer wheel house.

syborg tt 05-02-2014 07:34 AM

Progress is Progress and it's good to see it's still moving forward

Are those 3/4 length? What size primary and collector? And how is the steering shaft going to fit in there? :) Looks tight!

Everything is looking great!

Been playing a bit lately, haven't gotten a whole lot done though. I did get in on the forgeline deal thanks to Mike at Musclerodz.

Picked up a hood locally for cheap!

Changed plans on the 10-bolt I had narrowed for this project and put it under my brothers 56.
So I narrowed a 12-bolt using Millerbuilts housing ends.

So I get an email today about my project on lat G! WHAT?!? I Figured they kicked me into the archives or something since it's been a year since I've posted on here and no the car still isn't done yet 😬.

Anyways, the car is finally progressing. I've got a few more things to mock up, exhaust, radiator hoses, fine tune gaps after ring bros. hinges get here 🤔 Do the body work and it'll be close.

The accessory drive if Holley stuff, fits well and after a little cleaning up casting marks looks real good.

I'll see if I can find some good pics to post up.

Thanks, Matt

syborg tt 02-13-2017 07:35 AM

Matt,

Don't worry life takes over sometimes and we all understand. However I am glad to see your working on it again and with summer looking like it may come earl here in Chicago I may actually start working on mine this week.

Looking great sir!

DKz Garage 05-16-2017 11:37 AM

Car Looks great!!..... The struggle is real (finding time to work on your ride). What solution did you come up with on the quarters? I have full AMDs that I will be installing....keeping my fingers crossed that I don't have to fight them too much!
