Are those shocks hooked up? They look to be below the scrub line which would not be good if you have a flat. They don't look to be but can't tell for sure. |

Very Nice.

Looks awesome, very clean looking.

I don't know the last time I saw a red on white car. Would be cool.

update update
We are back on this one now that the owner's Chevelle is about wrapped up.
We went with some rear tail-pan updates. The filler is moved up between the taillight. The rear exhaust tips will mimic the taillight angles. Which meant we cut out the Art Morrison frame rails and made custom pieces that hug the quarterpanels to free up room for the exhaust. Make sense? And standard fare was sectioning the rear bumper to bring it in a bit. http://chrisholstromconcepts.com/wor...camaro/071.jpg http://chrisholstromconcepts.com/wor...camaro/070.jpg http://chrisholstromconcepts.com/wor...camaro/072.jpg |

Great work -- that looks amazing!
|
yup, I love this car!
|
Yeah, this 69 has a very nice stance! Good job.
|
Thanks guys...I'm finally learning to build the exhaust up into the floorboards. Last Camaro we did, that is the first thing that hits, and it just looks ugly hanging out under the car
|
We had this car on display at Puyallup Goodguys last weekend. It was really received. Here are some updates.
Probably the coolest part about the rear end work is the way the rear frame rails kick out to the quarter panels to open up room for the 3" exhaust and Rick's Tanks http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/g...pse309123c.jpg http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/g...ps3d794bff.jpg http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/g...ps0f677979.jpg |

We removed the rear spoiler...'cause everybody know's first gen Camaros look better without it:poke:

It's staying white with red interior by Tracy Weaver. The plan is to ship it out to Nebraska in the spring and pick the car up and finally go to Columbus next year |
hi chris, great fab work. your guys are good.

That is made on the lathe and will have a spring loaded center to push and release-

Thanks guys! Josh Ewing will be wrapped up soon on the metal work. Then we can get all the assembly and paint finished.
|
Chris - the car looks fantastic
|
Any updates?
|
That is some fine metal you guys are doing over there. I especially like the unconventional curvature of the work.
|

|
The motor should sing a sweet song in this car!
|
Hey Chris the stance is awesome, I searched thread but couldn't find the wheel and tire sizes you used. Can you post them. Thanks

Remember This Car?! Final Assembly For Sema
Lots to update on this build. We got it back from Josh Ewing a few months back with all the metal work wrapped up. He did a phenomenal job!
Paint is done, engine is installed. Cut out the dash today and trial fit the Marquez unit. Engine, trans and rear end is finally back in the car for the final time. A million little details to go. If you Noticed we shipped the wheel centers back to Forgeline to get gunmetal grey instead of silver. Can someone help me with the images- I can't get them to save and load, only the links http://static.squarespace.com/static...g?format=1500w http://static.squarespace.com/static...g?format=1500w http://static.squarespace.com/static...g?format=1500w |
More updates and photos to come. Side glass is going in tomorrow along with finishing up wiring and under-dash plumbing. We are really excited to see this one come together. - Chris
