Nothing really, I have had another large expansion in my business in 2013 leaving little to no time for play. :badidea:

As much as I want to do this build 100% myself I have been considering taking it to a place like Ironworks, Rad rides, or RS to name my favorites.

Kevin --- I told myself I would NEVER EVER have a "shop built" car.... to me - that just wasn't hot rodding. Hot rodding is building your own stuff...

That was until I got busy with just other stuff. And I have to say I've enjoyed having someone else do my builds. I've been able to just walk in say "adjust this and do that"... and when I come back it's all done!

So don't kill yourself over taking the project to someone -- while you attend to other business. Yeah -- it's a "hobby" --- but this won't be your only build or only project. And sometimes the "reward" for all the hard work... is a nice DONE project you get to enjoy.

Just make dang sure you take it to a shop that can start the job - and FINISH it in a timely efficient manor - hassle free.

I hear ya Greg, I think its mostly a pride thing for me too but I am to the point where I just want to have it to enjoy cruising and tinkering in then back to cruising, not just banging away on it for hours and not getting to drive it. I don't want a over the top custom car just a few of my own touches into it.
I have been thinking about getting someone to finish the metal work for me just not sure how to go about that.

the other huge issue is the farm has taken over the shop I was building it in and I don't have a spot (at the moment) where I can just leave it and go play with it at my leisure.
the good news is the farm has out grown the shop and we will need to build a new one for that.

Hope you still have it and havent given up on it ... Weve started cutting on mine a little bit , but then the shop got super busy again , so much so we are having to turn work away which I hate.

Did you ever decide to have someone finish or ???

Kevin, the car is coming along nicely! Great progress! Life can get in the way at times.....but that's reality. Just keep at it when you can!

Did you ever get the front wheels and get it on the ground?
