It's not so much the trip, cuz yes it would be about 6 hours each way out of my way. It's the fact i would have to unload about 4 cars to load car in the trailer where it's spot wold be. So loading up here heading south, then unload 4 cars and reload 5 cars is just not productive.

I haul don't just haul cars and I don't do it full time. I take a bit more care and do a bit more planning trying to get everything in it's best spot.

Still looking for ideas on how to get a rolling shell from Carlsbad over the Bakersfield - any lurkers have some ideas on who might be able to help?
