If memory serves from last September a certain Payback car suffered from a severe case of Premature E-track-ulation due to an overheated lubrication system, hence only making a few "laps" in some sessions before having to pull out. Meanwhile, the Creampuff kept pounding away for every session delivering the goods to everyone that it took for a ride. I don't expect much to change for 2012:D

  Hey, you can ride a donkey all day long but who doesn't want their turn on the high strung thoroughbred?

After riding in Carl's car last year at Buttonwillow, I deemed it the Cream Puff.

Here's mine;

16th (not including exhibition cars I believe)

225 19's & 275 20's

320 treadwear

You have an LS3, DSE Subframe, T56 Magnum, Speed Tech Torque Arm, and Speed Tech Floater in you garage. You also have 6 months to get it all installed. The only excuses we are going to allow on the white board are WHY you don't have all those fancy parts ON the car.

Bucketlist2012 03-21-2012 03:04 PM

Ok. The newbie is working on his smack talk....Here goes...

I'd rather be a Cole trickle wanna be than a Old Dick Trickler who drives fast..

I am Old and Sick with Heart and Brain Issues,But My Dick don't Trickle, and I plan to come out there on a Leaf spring set up, and the factory 350 Lt-1, 4 on the floor,On a third of the budget, and be shoving up your A$$ enough to at least keep you paying attention..

Don't let the Shiny Paint fool you..28 year old paint...So I am ready to Run..

Running what I brung, no trailerqueen or team, or adjustments..No excuses..

But I don't think my Car will break like some of the cream puffs and chest puffers on this site...

I am on my Bucket List's... I have been to death's door a few times in the last three years. Not too worried about the after life...seen it..

You might want to get out of the way....Or be really, really Fast..

Being the newbie, that was my best smack for the day....What did you marshmellows think ?

Track Junky 03-21-2012 03:25 PM

Seriously bro, you ever think about a career in rap music?

I was just going to edit and say, yes this is the same guy that has never been to a track.... A newbie talking smack...recipe for disaster...

Rap music ? Crap shoveling is more like it..

I am so the humble newbie, just trying to get track time and follow the lines, and stay out of the way, and not break my car or anyone else's...And meet you guys, and gals..

But I was just checking my smack meter...Because I can bench race pretty well..:willy:

Racing for real ? You may want to stay out of my way for your own safety...

P.S. You Guys are going to run me over, But I will smack talk while I can...I will save my excuses for afterwards..:willy:

Nessumsar 03-21-2012 03:42 PM

Well, we know its going to take more than my brakes failing and catching on fire to stop me!

Can't say I'm proud of that though... :faint:

I'm not planning on needing an excuss this year, you boys are going down!

This racing is easy behind the Keyboard, and all my parts stay fresh...

Boring.....This Summer, a beating is in order..I will trailer it home on AAA, if it breaks.

DFRESH 03-21-2012 09:46 PM

No more one legger excuses from me---I really don't need to use it since I am consistenly ahead of most of the posi cars anyways.

If I can't stay ahead of someone at this event, i'll use the 225 fronts as the next most logical excuse.

Treadwear after that,

then motor,

then the "I don't have Weld money",

Investing 102

my ADD

etc---et al.

I can't put those other parts in the car---there's too much at risk now.

One legger ?? I knight you ......" Pogo Stick "...

I am using my Brain Seizures, Strokes, and My Heart Condition, if I have to..

And I don't have Weld money...And my eyes are bad...And my reaction times suck compared to my Pre Stroke days...No more numbness in my clutch foot...So I can't use paralysis as an excuse anymore..

Also my interior is not done, and my paint is old...Also I may have a toothache..

I will think of more excuses, but I think being the newbie is enough for me to get My A$$ kicked..:lateral:

Half of those don't qualify as excuses. Repainting the car will add a few pounds, as does having a complete interior. Pull the tooth and you've lost a little more weight. Those are advantages.

I think I'll bring my 3800 lb pig of a Ford out to play. I'd take my Camaro out, but she is a temperamental bitch, and having a legitimate excuse, like, oh say, "my engine broke," really isn't that fun.

Im thinking that if you installed any of those fancy begged and borrowed parts in your garage then you would have no excuses. At least this way you can always talk about what your car will be next year after you install that subframe that so far is just way to get Kyle Tucker to come to your party. Dont worry if you install those parts in black beauty and your still only top 10, then you can just tell people how fast your drag car would be had they not shut down the drag strips in LA.

I can wax the Paint... Pull the tooth....Problem/excuses solved..

LMAO...If I am not having a Stroke or a Seizure at that exact moment, I can't use those as excuses either.

No more paralysis..Another advantage..

Dang, you guys are a tough crowd..:lateral:

If they have to crack open my chest, or my skull, I am going to have to ask for a few second head start...

 Broken engine is a valid excuse. Just don't expect Flash to agree, he could have a chunk of the block hit him in the kneecap and would say it's "just some blowby".

The only place that arm is going to fail is were I have not touched it yet. My work is solid..... Besides I'd be more worried about your driving skills as an excuse:rofl:

Aint that the truth? That boy likes his cars like he likes his women, loud, harsh, and smoking! Should have gotten himself a vegas hooker! Help a brother out Todd? :captain:

And speaking of Todd, he should have been a plastic surgeon with how much he "tunes" his car. "a little more here, a little less there, raise this up, make those bigger..."

Doug hasn't put those parts on his car so everyone will keep talking about him; because once they go on he'll be old news, and Mr. Popular can't have that!

Matt's a good jokester cause mind is quick an direct, too bad I can't say the same for his driving.

Roger's so big I don't dare cross him; and Greg's so short I'd feel bad for making fun of him. :(

Steven Steven Steven, I don't know where to start with you...

Tommy boy, could the hair get any bigger?

Note to Steven: Bigger white board

67zo6Camaro 03-22-2012 04:07 PM

Yeah, I didn't make the list. Is this a good thing, I don't know.

The Renner observation.... So, true.:_paranoid lol.

Watch what you say about Biggie and shorty, I heard they are part of the motomofia. They might send a hit man out.

And any time someone mentions hookers and/or plastic surgeon, I get giddy like a school girl... So, I'm on their team so they can deliver. You know the girls. You gatta have pit h... helpers at these events.... Someone to hold my umbrella.

Well I picked up my Camaro from the shop today.

The quality of the work was so poor and there are so many problems with it that I've decided not to bring a knife to a knife fight.... I'm bringing a gun!!

Some searching on craiglist and I found this badass machine. I'm waiting to hear back on my offer. If the deal goes though you guys are definitely gonna need a bigger white board!

I give you the... BUTTONWILLOW DOMINATOR!!

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...501/photo2.jpg

This thing is even fully track ready as evidenced in this picture!

kyle_newman 03-22-2012 06:59 PM

You guys are all in trouble! my 57 year old box is going to come and DOMINATE all of your "young gun" cars! Non stand a chance! So when your WHOLE rear view mirror is full of bumper and grill just move out of the way..... The Newman train is rolling through! Whoot whoot
