The front spoiler is hardly a rip off, he built it in the winter 2003-2004. It was featured in a Norwgian magazine in fall 2004. But you guys are right about one thing, it's FUGLY! :wow:

Well, concidering we designed the body kit in 02, he more than likely saw it, wanted it, and copied it.
I get a bunch of Emails regarding the kit from Norway and Sweden, so there ya go.

That "rip off" body kit reminds me of the Lauren Engineering kits for 80s Gbodies back in the 90's. Just boxy, "hung on" crap. Tyler's car has a much more integrated and refined look. That's tough to do. :thumbsup:

Maybe he did copy it, the article in the Magazine states that he "built the car to the latest trends in the US". Go figure..

boy, I didn't want it to turn into a thrashing on this car by starting this thread. I see stuff on that car that I do like. I think the wing is probably the one thing I don't. The paint looks great, the wheels look pretty good.

Some of you Camaro boys have no Ba_ _ s. Teetoe, your design along with the overseas car are sweet. Its guys like you taking the car to the next level that motivates others. Great design. :hail: Now all you have to do is finish it. I know someday.

I think it's a huge compliment that the guy likes Tyler's design and used it. It's not like the guy is making body kits and selling them (not that I know of). Don't we all copy other people's work in someway to make our rides better? :yes: I still think tylers 50/50 kit is better looking :unibrow:

50/50 is much MUCH better :yes: , but there was some good work put into the other Camaro too. Minor changes could make the Norwegian one look a lot better than it currently does (50/50 would still be better though :D ).

The spoiler design is certainly from ATS, but we have never sold a part from our body kit to anyone. The owner of the car must have had it fabricated off one of McBride's sketches.

is it really that different from the the camaro that ats were building cosmetically anyway.. but i guess it looks ok to me.
