It looks like I have a buyer for my millwork/door/hardwoods warehouse division, so space limitations at my rod shop at the lumber yard may require some sort of RSVP confirmations for those interested in attending this year. We held the event/party there in 2004, so you may remember that it's much smaller than the warehouse we used in 2005. I can stash a few of my cars at the hangar that night to make more seating/buffet/lounge room at my shop, so I suspect we'd be okay for 175-200 guests. Also, if there's enough interest, Stuart could host a Lateral-g golf outing at Southern Highlands Golf Club earlier in the day.

Same deal as last year, Scott/Jody...you guys have to agree to handle the particulars/guest list confirmations and I'll arrange the facility, buffet and spirits between 4 - 8 PM. :D

I will try to make it this year. I have got the rooms booked (as I had last year), planetickets are in the pipeline so everything should be OK. I will really try to avoid any jobs this week. Last year I had to stay home because of a job that was impossible to reschedule.

See ya in 'Vegas.

I echo the sentiments of all here thata attended last year. It was like trying to describe the undescibable for me. It was one of the hilites of my "Car Life" if you catch my drift. Just awesome in every concievable way. Your generosity is so far beyond appreciated well, Thanks is all I can say. I so look forward to it. If I just flew in went to your gig and flew back home would be just incredible, but, you toss in SEMA and the wildlife that hangs out here, and and and.....

Getting pumped up here also. Really wanted to come with no car, but the more it gets closer, the more it looks we will be bringing something. I have mixed emotions.

Can't wait for Steve's gig. What a great group.

Doug,

There will be another event at Steve's on Wednesday. I believe it's from 5:00 to 8:00 or so and Scott will be posting all the info pretty soon as we need to get a head count.

Look forward to seeing you there.

Jody

hotwheels 07-17-2006 06:44 PM

Thanks for the quick reply jody.........

Wendsday will be awesome, and just to get the ball rolling (a bit), I will be a party of 4 people. We will be at circus circus, it is fairly close to the convention center and it has room's available.

Anyways, just wanted to let scott and everyone else know we WILL be there.

Not open to the public, and last year they really started cracking down. You'd need to be working for an auto-related company or have one help you get in by claiming you as an employee.
