GregWeld 08-15-2012 08:02 AM

IMHO they quit making Nova's in '67.... but damn if somehow you don't manage to make these later model cars look AWESOME!

BBC71Nova 08-15-2012 08:12 AM

Are build pics available anywhere? I can't figure out how you got a set of 335s in there :).

BTW, might have to take you up on that dash console suggestion.

Dang, that is sweet. As always, killer job. I love that it only came in for something simple and ended up full tilt. Who ever "upsaled" the guy, should get a raise.

So we took the car and my Nova on a local Nova cruse last weekend, and then to a car show on sunday. Seems my nova is now second rate ???? how did that happen? anyway i gues if your not building them better as you go then that means your building them worse. so all is goos, the customer LOVES it this combo is probably the most drivable set up to date, the 430 hp LS crate motor is awesome, hit the key first time drove away. passed our smog rest with flying colorsi would recomend this motor to anyone building a tame driver.

The giveaway car we did for Goodguys had the same combo. It ran 75-85 mph all day. Got 23mpg. And had enough get up and good to keep me happy for a daily driver kinda setup. The LS3 is super solid combo. We put over a 1000 mile son it last summer and had a great time doing it.

blakes72x 08-31-2012 09:56 AM

glad i didn't order my paint or the moal bomber gauges yet for my 72

guess ill have to go with plan B :willy:

looks sick though but it needs clear park lamp lenses in the front bumper the amber is distracting since the rest of the car is so neutral colored

Vent window

Hi Blake, I love this car and resurrexion even better.

What does it take to delete the vent window?
Do you have to make new glas? Is it a 1974 Nova window?
Can you use the existing regulators?

Thanks
Bram

we have just replaced the doors with 73-4 doors, then you have to update the door panel to the same.

Doesn't a 74 Nova window fit in a 70 door? They certainly look the same.....
Its a lot easyer to do it that way....
