Our beautiful Meg
To all,,
As I sit here reading all of your heartfelt words and emotions about our beautiful daughter Meg, I am terribly moved and speechless. Other than saying a simple thank you, I really can't seem to find the words to express to you all on what all of the support and reaching out means to us at this time. We were blessed with Meg, loved our baby girl so, so much and will miss her beyond belief, but there is comfort knowing that she is in a much better place now, where she can finally be free of all of her struggles that she endured in the short time that she was with us. Again, thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers, Dan |
Focus on all the positives now and they'll give reason to reflect with a smile in the future.

Thank you
Hey Guys,
My wife and I just wanted to take the time to again say thank you to everyone who has given us, and our beautiful daughter Meg, their thoughts and prayers over the past few weeks. Needless to say, our lives have changed in ways I can't even begin to describe. The amount of emotions that we have experienced thru all of this is overwhelming, but it's with all of the support that we continue to have that helps us greatly. Sharing some thoughts...... We have always known that one day Meg would be taken from us at a young age because of the disease that she had fought thru all these years, but I guess no one can prepare themselves for when the day arrives. But on that day, we did find comfort knowing that Meg was finally at peace in a place where there were no more struggles or frustrations for her. Meg will always be with us now in our hearts and memories. It's all the good times and special moments that will keep us going and pushing thru till we finally get to be with her again someday. Even though she fought thru her life on a daily basis, and knowing herself how short her life was, that never stopped her from living life as full as she could. She had every right to be full of self pity and want to give up, but she didn't. She was always on the move by living on her own, making plans, making friends, going to college, chasing boys, laughing and was all about having a good time. So now our lives move forward. My wife is back to work and I'm back at the shop. And as hard as it seems now, we will take some of the many things that we learned from Meg is that we need to push hard, move forward, be happy, smile, laugh hard and laugh often!!! So again, thank you so so much for your thoughts and prayers, we deeply appreciate it, Dan & Sue |
Dan,
Thanks for sharing! --Eric |
