Looking good Scott!

Did you build or buy those shock mockups? I just picked up a swedged tube set last week from Speedway but your setup is a lot more adjustable.

Finally a build thread! Looks awesome Scott.
I was joking awhile back about grafting an aftermarket F-body clip in a Chevelle...guess that's in the history books now! Waaay cool.

Thank's,It's coming along pretty good.Sooner or later will come the time I have to start grinding and cleaning the buttom side of the floor pan.Since the cars already painted don't want to sandblast it.I need sonar chief to come help me with the prepping part.He does such an awesome job of it. The chassis will get sandblasted at the powder coater. There's a guy here that does blasting, but he said he had a 4-6 week back log.So I just desided to grind the chassis where I need it.

Nice work on the exhaust!

eric1967 09-14-2012 05:51 PM

Scott what did you do in the rear? It looks like it is still a tranglated 4 bar. Did you have to move the mounting points in? This thing is killer. Thanks Eric

I used the stock pickup point's on the chassis. The upper's on the moser 9" floater are some I plasma cut,& the housing lower's are from the good folk's @ Ridetech.I used the ridetech lower's because w/the floater & ZO6 caliper's, I had to move them in slightly. So using a rubber or poly bushing would have put the lower's in a bind. So I just Opped to use ridetech's Rod end kit. They may make alittle noise but with the Borla XR1's and Supercharger whine,I May not here them.I will get real good photo's during the reassem.

Rear sway bar install

http://i1104.photobucket.com/albums/...lebuild013.jpghttp://i1104.photobucket.com/albums/...lebuild012.jpghttp://i1104.photobucket.com/albums/...lebuild011.jpghttp://i1104.photobucket.com/albums/...lebuild010.jpghttp://i1104.photobucket.com/albums/...lebuild009.jpgI have order some alum. splined arm's for the rear, instead of the steel unit's.I am going to ude them on the frt. bar.I should be able to ajust the rear bar from about 780" lbs. to 321".The splined bar arms will have an ajustment hole .750 apart.

I was going to build my own fuel & diff vent's(Then I saw these). It would have taken me a whole day of cuttin, fabbin, weldin, and probably $120.00 in material's and then $100.00 @ the adodizor. So I think these are a great deal for what you get.Plus they look really cool.

Steve68 09-16-2012 07:03 AM

Nice pics Scott,

JP makes some nice stuff, and a diff vent too, I'll be getting those too, someday soon,
