Will enjoy watching this build. Love the ulta wide Cudas. That's a great body you're starting with.

Gearhead 06-07-2013 08:39 AM

Man, that's a great looking body. Must be nice to get em back from the dipper in that kind of shape.

It's only good if it wasn't your x-girlfriends body. I am going to miss her dearly.

I think you guys need a Zip Line GoPro Camera snapping pictures during the day. That would be a first in the automotive world.

Thanks - just did a rough count and between chassis installs, fabrication projetcs and full builds, we have just under 40 vehicles in various stages being worked on right now! (Some new build threads coming soon also!)

A couple more pics of the 'Cuda from the last few days.

Work has been steady with some cleaning up of the firewall, shaving the side markers, door handles and fabbing up the new forward structure for sheetmetal and radiator mount and new hood hinge mounts.

One of the details the owner wanted was to switch out the '73 tailpanel for a '70 style panel:

I gotta say, I love those wheels with that blue anodize on the bare metal car. It looks killer with em. Just stop now, the car is perfect already.

You guys never cease to amaze. Love it!! As far as the wheels go, I swear I thought about doing that since my car is blue and decided not to. I got the idea when my builder put the blue tape on the lips when he was welding. I thought it would be too much or ghetto, so to speak. I was wrong. The wheels are perfect and killing it. Way to think outside the box.

Time for more updated pics on the Cuda!

These are just the mockup wheels! Hopefully though it shows that bold colors can look good on wheels!

Thanks everyone!!

Here's a pic of the direction we are going with the interior. The factory dash and console has some nice lines already so the owner just wants it kept nice, clean and simple. The dash face and console insert will be a textured metal with gray black two/tone seats with perforated inserts and red stitching.
