A few more pictures.

I glass bead blasted the Wilwood pedal Assembly and the front suspension pieces and clear coated them, so that they will stand out against the black carpet, that I will use.

All we do is blast cars and ruin peoples dreams.

That's the truth. Hey what happened to my pristine car. :bang:

You have one hell of a nice project going together :D

Did the carbon shaft come from a local supplier or someone in the states?

frankv11 06-07-2013 10:07 PM

we like pictures here ,, ahhhh thanks for the fix
very nice build. your were lucky, considering some of the cars we have seen come out of sandblasting. or did we missed some of the horrific pictures

Yeah I have a lot of clients that wonder the same thing, I had a 70 Mustang that looked pretty good, but after blasting the only panel not replaced was the roof.

Thanks I'm pretty happy with the way it's shaping up.

The tail shaft I bought through a local guy, but it was made in the States.

Nice parts Greg!

When I had the resto shop we would always tell the customer before we had the car stripped that it might not come back as a whole car!! It's amazing what people did to some of these cars to make them look ok!

Greg it looks awesome ! I'm not mad you held out, I'm pissed I didn't see it until today!!! That's going to be a wild set up what are you expecting for HP? I like the color you used on the bottom it will be nice with the red. Are those bullit mufflers infront of the regular mufflers? Glad to see it coming together!
I'll be watching...

Hey Wayne, I hope you are getting better.

The things in front of the mufflers are Cat's and expansion bellows.

We expect around 700 - 720 hp at the flywheel.

waynieZ 06-08-2013 09:33 PM

Sweet!!!

Challenges are a good test. Best of all........when someone asks where you got those headers you can say I BUILT THEM! Get creative and make your own custom name/logo plate and tack it on a tube.

That plastic Lego set made it a lot easier didn't it?!

I remember going to their site and checking those out.........(choking on the price mind you)........then when I was fabbing my tailpipes I kept thinking man those would sure make this A LOT simpler. :D

waynieZ 06-09-2013 10:23 AM

Headers are looking good. Nice job.

tubbed69 06-09-2013 12:47 PM

Greg those headers look great ,doing a great job on entire car.

It's character building, I really enjoy the fabrication part of it, theres nothing wrong with learning new skills.

Yeah a lot easier than without I am sure.

They ain't cheap but I have another set to build so it's not too bad, and I can always move them on when I'm finished with them.
