Love the car! I think there's definitely room for improvement with the wing. At the same time, I think no wing would look good too. Maybe get with someone that can photoshop or maybe get with Carter Hickman, Jason Rushforth, or whomever you like and get a rendering done. You could take a look at other changes too such as a front spoiler like Bryce mentioned and maybe even wheel changes if you care to go that far. They are also designers and not just 3D modeling wizards so I bet they could have some good suggestions.

CamaroBill 06-19-2013 09:09 PM

Thanks Trey...all good suggestions.

Great car!

I am digging it. Everyone is giving opinions, so here is mine. Taller wider wing as was previously posted or a NASCAR style adjustable spoiler.

coolwelder62 06-22-2013 02:54 PM

It's an awesome car.I think a spoiler more like the nascar's ran in 80's would be better suited for this BA Falcon.

Killer car though. Cant wait to see some video of this thing.

Great eye Chris,, really started to look at it after your post, and yes it was mounted wrong. Not upside down, but backwards. I had my buddy machine the risiers and reposition the holes. I will take some pictures as soon as i get it mounted, but its going to be about 3 inches lower and set back a little bit.

Track Junky 06-22-2013 09:46 PM

Man this car is awesome. The wing throws it off a bit but only because of where it sits on the car and its shape. I think something a little flatter, set back a bit, lowered a bit, and powder coated black would work.

Flash68 06-22-2013 09:53 PM

How bout something like this? Maybe even a little taller.

I agree with Dave!! And Bill, you've always had really great taste in cars and their looks..... To be honest, that spoiler that came on your new ride just don't cut it JMOHO:underchair:

Flash68 09-17-2013 12:15 AM

Well... what did you decide on the wing deal? :headspin:

The Orange Vette in the background is a buddy of mine - Bruce Leven. That is one bad ass Vette.... He used to race 962's so the Vette is tame in comparison.

Bill -- Love the Falcon -- and I'll just keep my mouth shut on the "wing thing".

Revved 09-26-2013 08:10 AM

Love the car but I'm also a +1 on ditching the spoiler! Just doesn't work with the lines of the car. I love the low pro fabbed spoiler on the top of this page...it would look great... or something like a fabbed up Pro-Stock style spoiler perhaps?

intocarss 09-27-2013 07:16 AM

Hey NovaFalconBill....clean out your PM box!!

CamaroBill 09-27-2013 07:29 AM

Inbox cleared....

Spoiler update...lopped about 3" off the risers and flipped it so its facing the right way. Looks about 3% better (lol), its going to have to come off. Unfortunately fabricators aren't cheap. .. neither are paint guys (fill holes and paint trunk lid)...so it will have to do for now.

Buy a fiberglass trunk lid and add a fiberglass spoiler on the trailing edge then paint.... By the way I love the falcon.

Man this car is nice, not enough Fords on here.

I liked the idea of a fiberglass trunk and molding one in. I owned a 64 Sprint in High School, and a 65 Futura a few years later that I converted to V8. I always wondered what a spoiler would look like. Really like the one on the RS Cuda.

Looks like you are moving towards what you like and thats what matters in this hobby. Lots of good ideas so far.

Joe
