Great job on the trim, Did you fine sand it first or did you do it all with the buffer? It came out really nice.

Depends on the piece and how bad it was to start out.
Front Bumpers had to send out to be chromed along with a trim piece around upper window for them to work on taking out the bends/dents and wave in it.

Now back working on Pierre's '56... a few more wires... and toss the front clip back on and it's outta here too!!

Some body/fiberglass work taking place

Found out that the entire right rear was hit and fiberglass repaired previously. Vette must have been hit hard from door back on that side. Repairs look good but will grind out and make sure so that no issues show up after paint and we say we should have done it. At least this way we know it is done right.

Thanks for the comment.
Mike Stockdale of SRIII Motorsports does an amazing job with custom frames.
I met with him in New Lenox IL to discuss what I was building and this is what he came up with. It will accept all c6 corvette suspension, coil overs on all four corners and I will be adding the corvette Z06 brakes and rotors.
That should be able to stop that LS9!!
We will add the currie rear and 3.55 gear and add ss700 transmission. :G-Dub:

The plan is to sell parts to offset cost. Some parts like seats are already spoken for.
Dave

I would go with the 2012 seats - they are 1000x better.

Trust me I did the conversion on my '05.

Last date I had for ss700 was 8/2/13. This week I sent them an e mail and they said that they referred my e mail to business manager. They will get back to me later this week. I have not heard anything yet

Thanks. I think they came out looking good. I think they will look great with the interior.

I am sure the corvette (purist) will have a different opinion.
