Go Pats!!

Stuart Adams 01-15-2014 09:18 AM

Sea pigeons offense anemic, 12th man awesome, whiners better roster, going to be a trash talking, hard hitting, cheap shoting blood bath.

Just hope the refs don't screw the outcome up.

Maybe Harbaugh and Carroll will fight at midfield an hour before game time to get it started off right.

GregWeld 01-15-2014 10:42 AM

That pretty much sums it up Stuart!

refs=13th man.

Niners are training with the loud speakers blaring and this guy is teaching the offense how to read sign.

Depend on who's officiating...........white and black is a hard team to beat.

Vince@Meanstreets 01-19-2014 07:54 PM

tell me about it....Seahawks better step up their game if they wanna win. Both games were sad.

dropped72ss 01-19-2014 08:07 PM

Quiet in here? Where are all you hawks haters ???? Time to eat crow! Throw on this secondary you lose ! Where was the big run game at from the whiners???? Super Bowl!!!!!! Go Hawks......shouldn't be a prob stopping those short passes from manning and an average run game w no defense!

69cortezsilver 01-19-2014 08:08 PM

Give me a break...2 best defenses in the game going at it! Denver has not played a quality defense all season(kc overated)! Peyton will have trouble passing on legion of boom! Hope they have an answer for lynch! GO HAWKS! We headed to the SUPERBOWL!

Truth!!!

Good game played by both tonight. Gonna be a pretty good SB for sure. The best offense going against the best defense should be interesting for sure!!:popcorn2:

Doubt the Super Bowl will be as good as that game.

Rick D 01-19-2014 08:43 PM

That was a great game, just like I said it came down to who could make a play at the end!! Hawks got it done, but by know means was it a blow out or anything like that. That was a great play Sherman made at the end, but I love when he's on camera after the game :D the best in the game make more then one play a game  not saying he's not great he is but take easy big guy!!

Any way I can't wait to see this SB!!! But I bet it's not half as good as this game was.

Vince@Meanstreets 01-19-2014 09:16 PM

I think Erin Andrews might have leaked a little pro biotics on that interwiew with sherman. LOL

I hope the hawks can pull it off

being humble. this is a seahawks thread after all.

If that bad call from Kap wasn't made during the last drive there would have been some crow eatin. 25 sec on the clock, 18 yards to go, 2 time outs and he throws to a Crabtree who is heavily defended? Who does that?
yeah my arm chair is worn out. It was a good game, good luck to you guys in NJ. I'll def watch.

Vince, keepin it classy.

One really bad call, one really great end zone play...and this dude:

It was a great game. Seahawks deserve the W.

Actually there were two bad calls: the missed fumble recovery AND the 5 yard running into the punter call that should have been a 15 yard roughing the punter call. Not saying the 49ers would have one won if it weren't for those two calls, but I hate seeing bad calls impact a game like it did. And for the record I like both of the teams.

If I were the Seahawks I would do everything in my power to keep this classless act away from a microphone.

It was also nice to see both games today be competitive. Nothing worse than seeing blowouts at this point in the playoffs.

Stuart Adams 01-20-2014 09:03 AM

I wish we could watch all games without the players showboating after each play.

Vince@Meanstreets 01-20-2014 10:41 AM

Its just passion and the love for the game. The teststosterone and energy from the win might have cluttered up his mouth a bit.
Nice thing about it, you can change the channel. I muted it pretty fast. LOL

Its funny how the press is all over it and no one talks about the class act Doug Baldwins interview. Now he should be the roll model for all.

Any player will tell you that bad calls happen, they look past it and move on...its what you do after the call to position your team is what really counts.

Shmoov69 01-20-2014 12:08 PM

I hated to see that interview. Sherman is good no doubt, and "possibly" the best..... currently. But really, he just showed that he (and he's not alone in the league) is nothing more than glorified thug. I'll say an analogy like this so nobody gets pissed off instead... You can take the boy out of the country, but You can't take the country out of the boy...

Let you skill do the talking and not your mouth IMO.

Vince@Meanstreets 01-20-2014 12:49 PM

Gotta remember he just made a game saving tip against the one guy that insulted his world of corner backs. He's fired up.

There's a reason for a 15 min interview cooling off period.

You think Crabtree would have done the same thing if he would have made the game winning catch against the greatest corner back in the league? You bet he would have.

im4u2nvss 01-20-2014 04:12 PM

Go Seahawks!!

Dont know many "thugs" that graduated from Stanford?
"Sherman graduated in 2010 from Stanford with a degree in Communication and returned for his final year of eligibility in order to begin a Masters degree".

:peepwall:

Not that Sherman is the following, but the flip side of that is that some of the most intelligent people throughout history have also been some of the worst people who ever lived.

One thing that's admired in pro sports by the other athletes is when guys make a great play, they act like 'they've been there before.'

One of the greatest players ever, Barry Sanders, is often referenced for doing that;when he scored a TD, he would usually just hand the ball to the official and jog off the field.

Vince@Meanstreets 01-20-2014 04:45 PM

I'm glad he is putting his degree to use. He is def communicating and everyone one is hearing it. The media blitz on it is embarrassing and unfortunately takes away from the team and great coaching calls.

Sieg 01-20-2014 05:26 PM

Next thing you know they'll be taking Selfies in the endzone.

I stand corrected... I guess he just acted like it. I'm sorry, guess he was just fired up from the adrenaline. :waveflag:

He got in on a football scholarship, you know how ball players get. He's the best CB but I can't recall the other play he made during the game.

GregWeld 01-21-2014 06:51 AM

Let's hope it was just an adrenaline fueled one time mistake. His stock crashed in 15 seconds of flame. He ruined an otherwise stellar ending for a good game. I would hope the team fined him because he embarrassed the entire organization and all of Seattle as well.

Did you guys see this? Embarrasing if you ask me.

Is it a Coincidence that the Super BOWL Teams come from the States that just legalized Reefer?:beavis:
