Thanks everyone for all of the positive comments! We very much appreciate all of them.

Here are a few more pictures of some of the last few projects before we spray the car. We are shooting for next friday to have it in the booth and start spraying color. I will keep updated once it goes in.

The customer has went back to his first color choice after being reminded of it seeing the latest pictures of Mark Stielows car.

A few pictures of the air intake tube that we built. We had to stretch the intake to tube to 4 1/4" at the throttle body to fit the larger Nick Williams TB.

We also decided that it wouldn't be a bad idea to do some sort of heat extractors to get some of the heat out from under the hood during hard track use.

http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o...pscbf4fqn1.jpg

Also did a little clean up work to the bottom.

Wow, that is a great shade of red. Is it an off the shelf color or something custom you developed? Looks great. Car should turn out great. I really like red cars.

The 67 is awesome, but we need a thread on the green 69 in the background. Your website doesn't have any completed photos of it. It is looking great.

We try to paint as many of the parts and pieces before the car is painted and ready for assembly so that once its ready, There isn't any hold ups waiting for parts to be painted.

What product are you using to bed line the bottom of the car Thanks and great work.

ArisESQ 11-25-2014 09:45 PM

I think this is my favorite build I've seen in a while - really really like how this car is turning out.

Great work!

They are using U-pol Raptor. Paul sprayed my 68 Camaro with Raptor a few years ago. IMO Raptor has a nicer finished look than other bed liners I've seen. I'm not sure if they are doing any type of custom mix or if it's straight out of the can though.

I agree it goes on flatter and has a slight gloss to it.

Jay Hilliard 11-26-2014 06:28 AM

Looking great Paul. Keep the pics coming when you have time.

Thanks for all of the positive comments guys!

Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving.

The customers Birthday is today. What better than being able to show him a short clip of the car getting sprayed!

http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o...psqevdasou.mp4

Jason is correct, We are using the Raptor bed liner, We really like using the Raptor, It doesn't go on too thick and isn't really flat.

Vince@Meanstreets 11-27-2014 12:21 PM

Happy Birthday Paul!!!!!!

Air-bender 11-27-2014 05:47 PM

Thanks

Thanks Vince! Hope all is well with you and the shop.

I haven't forgotten our conversation about that Trans Cooler and will be in touch when the Camaro is closer to being done.

Sales@Dutchboys 12-02-2014 08:51 AM

A few pictures from this week.

While we are waiting for the paint to dry up for a few weeks before we sand and buff the car, we decided to go ahead and get the engine installed.

I will post more pictures up once the car gets sanded and buffed and into assembly!
