SO here was my pick --- because it was different -- If it was at a show you'd walk all the way across a field to check it out.... Pinkee's Rivet Roadster.

That green one was different also. |

Different as in an 8 stack EFI Hemi -- and with the rivets in the interior - and the color choice (not black or red or blue).... Not "different" as in butt FUGLY... LOL |

OMG Al..... I'm sorry - I was not a fan of him or his show or his projects.... I'm mostly poking fun at the whole AMBR process.... and I'm certainly aware that everyone has different tastes and mine aren't anyone's standard! LOL |
I heard this is what he was working on out in the UNIVERSE somewhere for next year.

From the pictures I've seen I liked the RadRides 32 and Pinkee's coupe, as far as AMBR I liked the black 32 with the wires....nothing about it screamed "look at me" and it was full of subtle custom touches. The last indoor show for me was GNRS in Oakland...98-99, I don't think I've been to Puyallup GG since 01 or so. Different strokes for older folks, or something like that. |
I go places to see my friends. If anyone really wants to know the truth - I could care less about looking at cars.

Friends are good, I'll have some sooner or later.
The one big show I never got to attend was Paso Robles, that always looked liked a hoot. With my ADD and not enjoying crowds the show scene just isn't for me, I do like looking at the fancy cars though. Whatever happened to D'agostino? |

He slipped and fell back into the 50's...... |
Think the only thing I missed by not going was Ironworks 55. Nothing really jazzed me too much of what I have seen so far on the Internet.
|
We sure were hoping to get there this year... Just wasn't in the cards. Hopefully next year.
I have had good experiences with indoor shows. But the outdoor ones around here are "participant" judged, and the politics can be pretty bad at them. |

Is this really being built or is this an inside joke only the cool kids know about? |
