You guys always seem to hit the ball out of the park.

Love the ideas you guys come up. It's something completely different to be able to execute that. Beautiful craftsmanship, as always. Can't wait to check this one out in person.

Thanks for all the comments!
A few more pics for today, kicking off with the rear spoiler. We wanted a lower, less dominant spoiler than factory due to the details we have added on the tailpanel and lower valance. The 'shorty' would give a better visual balance. https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7313/...837abaa7_b.jpg https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7281/...c85a5cc8_b.jpg https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8649/...ba107f8b_b.jpg https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7341/...d4367dd3_b.jpg https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8609/...32b1e37d_b.jpg https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8643/...a91e1926_b.jpg |
Metal magic :king:

Damn!!!!
Awesome Work Fab Work!! |
Looks very nice.

RS really does have a lot of creative ideas - every car seems to have fresh styling and is not overdone and while you can say there is an RS style, its not cookie cutter in any way.
I mean I am bored to death with early Camaro PT cars, and yet look how many different ways they are making this car interesting to the point where I am excited and interested in the build. And thanks RS for showing us some of the fab photos not just the finished pieces. I learn so much just looking at how you tack, how you join, the HAZ on your welding etc. |
Very impressive as always. What tallights are those?

Time for a few updates on this one!
With the host of the metalwork custom touches complete, the shell heads to the body shop and the final stages are in view. Chassis and driveline assembly: Chassis is our FAST TRACK full frame with our IRS rounding out the suspension setup with Penske Shocks all round. https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/272/18...a0eb7fe8_b.jpgIMG_8125 by Roadster Shop, on Flickr https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/393/18...e4d76de1_b.jpgIMG_8189 by Roadster Shop, on Flickr https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/435/18...ce37d1c8_b.jpgIMG_8192 by Roadster Shop, on Flickr https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/275/18...a20ea0f8_b.jpgIMG_8204 by Roadster Shop, on Flickr Body shop really thanked us for the fine details on this one  https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8838/1...9b4faf54_b.jpgIMG_8702 by Roadster Shop, on Flickr https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8879/1...11e44a2b_b.jpgIMG_8703 by Roadster Shop, on Flickr https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/524/18...355b8384_b.jpgIMG_8673 by Roadster Shop, on Flickr https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/277/18...63d4cf60_b.jpgIMG_8731 by Roadster Shop, on Flickr |
Looks very nice and seeing all of the different Chassis yesterday I was blown away at the volume and the quality of the work you guys put out.
The little blue Ford pick up would sure make for a great Bike hauler. |
Subscribed.

Aewsome. Love the details.
|
Sorry -- the yellow calipers are just clashing with that paint - I'd make them go away painting them black... That's the only two colors on the car - the body paint and black. Normally I keep my big yap shut on this kind of stuff... but had to say this because the car is friggin' killer. Love the ADV wheels too! Hopefully they replace the rollers on it as shown.
|
Love it! I'm so glad to see a 68 get some love.
|
what did you paint the window trim and wipers with?
|
Wow, that is incredible. very nice work guys!!!
|
Beautiful build! Look forward to seeing the final product.
|
I agree with GW on calipers. Love this car!

Of course -- one of my favorite sayings is "the only guy that needs to like it, is the guy that's paying the bills..." I just found that no matter what I was looking at in the pictures <great photos by the way> was that I was distracted by the calipers "popping" out. |
Yellow caliper spells performance when Eroupein. :bitchslap:
|
Very stunning car!
|
Like the subtle body mods. That front grille and tail panel are pretty impressive mods. And the obvious like the killer chassis and the adv1 wheels make it over the top. Great job again.

I really like the color and the way they massaged the whole back end of the car. Its different and not the same old camaro..
Well done guys. |
I know I am being overly critical, and I love this car so dont get me wrong, I find it interesting that being a 68 it has a 67 firewall in it.
|
Another awesome build!!
|
The car looks great the mods are subtle and clean!. Very well thought out and executed.
