Always nice with feedbacks  http://www.moldestuket.com/forum/fil...tom149_151.jpg Here are my new brakes from Wilwood: 13" with six pistons front 14" with four pistons rear (same size caliper as the front six pistons) |
Well it isnt Pro-Touring but i tought i could share some pictures of my new (#2) '64 Chevy Bel Air Stw that i bought in
Huntington Beach, California when i was over in November (for SEMA, GG Pleasonton, Foose etc) It was all original so when i got it home to Norway i shortend the rear axle and laid it in the weed with Astro Supremes Reverse. Got my hands on a roof rack and did a surf style on it with surfboard and all the details. I have also given the engine compartment a little resto. I have completely fallen in love with the '64 Bel air Stw's and i also still have the '64 on page four in this thread. I have also gotten hold of the only 9 passanger '64 Bel Air here in Norway so now i have 3 of the 5 that are in Norway (guaranted) http://www.moldestuket.com/lgpre1.jpg http://www.moldestuket.com/lgpre2.jpg |

Killer stance. Well done. I didn't think a 71-73 mustang could look that good.

Was "finished" like this i 2005, and upgraded in 2008/2009 with some more modifications and 13" and 14" Willwoods. No its 63 days till its new unveiling at a inndoor car show  |
That Mustang body style is my all time favorite.
|
Cool to hear :). And unusual to hear :unibrow:
Working on the car every minute i have to spare so i make my deadline in 30 days  |
I've never liked that year of Mustang.
I like yours. You have changed my thinking about that body style. |
I used to have a 73 Mach 1 years ago, nice to see someone giving that style some love.
|

White color is simple the best:thumbsup: |
I like the white better myself. And interior is nicely done too.
|
first thing that came out of my mouth when i saw the white...
"holy f*** !" that white takes the car to a whole new level, and the dash is slick! great job. |

Thanks a lot for the way cool feedback  |

Beautiful car! I would have never thought a 70s Mustang could look so good. Another eye opener is European interest in American Muscle cars, especially in Scandinavia. Your love for station wagons is also surprising, but you have made that 64 look very appealing.

No idea how I missed you update from earlier this year about the color change and interior. The car looks great! Congrats on the fantastic work.

Was in Oslo and Oslo Motor Show the last weekend in October.
This is the biggest and most important inndoor carshow in Norway. There i got an award in the Exhibitors Choice Award class  http://sphotos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...39586869_n.jpg |
Sorry I missed the update earlier this year. You did a great job I, like the white and the new interior, but I liked it the way it was already. Nice job!

And, thanks a lot! :) |

Looks very nice, one of my favorite body styles (top 5).

Where are the pics in the paint shop!!!??? No build shots?? :tv_happy:
The white really make's the car pop compared to the purple, i love white, all my Drivers are and have mostly been white so you can tell i really love it. Its a clean color and even tought its simple, it makes every car look "class". On a more of a critic comment (no negative meant!!) its kind of a shame that the wheels are not of a more "opened" style that would show the brakes more... And i also think a new steering wheel is in the "need" column. Something of the like of the new custom line from Billet Specialities. (Since you seem to like matching wheels and steering wheel....they also have new wheels that could match your new steering wheel!!! Wink wink!!;) ). Like i have said earlier in this thread your car changes the perception i have had of that body style. It looks like it does that to everybody too!! Thats a real accomplishment!! I've been wanting to ask about what can be read on some signs on the pics you put up, i see : "Rad Rides Nort West" ..... Are you working with / for Troy or something? At first i just saw the "Moldentucket" as its so much bigger then i paid attention to the little characters lol, and it got me wondering. Sure is a rad ride you got there anyway!!! Lead. |
