The second or third photo on page 1 is the fuel filler it looks like a dry break but it's really just a regular fuel fill in the quarter panel, probably going to use a two much fabrication fuel vent

Mikael A 10-02-2016 04:59 AM

Im not big on this generation camaro but yours awesome.Great work and what type of undercoating is that.

cpd004 10-02-2016 07:08 AM

What type of coating did you use on the bottom of the car?

alex n 10-02-2016 07:23 AM

Raptor liner made by u-pol, Detroit speed uses it on all of their builds I am very happy with it. It dries hard but slightly flexible , it's a 2 part catalised system

I'll be interested to see how you handle the venting. I'd like to do something similar, can't stand he filler being behind the license plate.

alex n 10-02-2016 11:50 AM

The car is going to go together soon now that most of the hard stuff is done I will be posting more pics in the next few weeks, Ill be sure to show the fuel cell , filler and vent system

MtotheIKEo 10-02-2016 12:55 PM

Nice, I'm sure myself and many other members would appreciate it.

Couldn't resist a good deal on brembo carbon ceramic brakes , so I switched to a 19 inch front wheel, the 18 in the above pics looked a bit small to me anyway.

Sweet stoppers!! :drive:

alex n 01-31-2017 01:00 PM

yea , they are sweet, I bought them in parts for sale on here , took them apart and had them powder coated , I had never rebuilt a caliper and it was very easy.

Josh@Ridetech 01-31-2017 02:11 PM

Good lord... That's cool!

Goosesdad 01-31-2017 03:40 PM

MtotheIKEo 04-10-2017 06:49 PM

Looks like it's coming together well! Did you ever get any more pics of the fuel filler?

Nitrous 12-10-2017 09:12 PM

How did this end up coming together?

70rsss396 12-11-2017 02:08 PM

What front inner fender-wells are you using?

Still working on it , changed a few directions since my my last post but I am now on the right track. Anvil deep inner fenders is what Im using to answer the above question

Any feedback on how the cx racing turbos are or have you not get a chance to play with them yet?

alex n 12-12-2017 01:55 PM

That is one of the things I changed directions on , I ended up buying a pair of mirror image Nelson ones

WSSix 12-12-2017 06:23 PM

The wood finishes look great. Glad you're still making progress.

sick71 12-13-2017 07:14 PM

Car looks great! Looking forward to seeing more!

One question, how did you do the RS park lights in a non RS header? Mine is a standard Camaro and would like to do this!

grendel 12-14-2017 06:22 AM

I'd be interested in a set of brake ducts. I use LED headlights with turn signals in them, so my lights just sit there.

alex n 12-14-2017 07:21 AM

Sick71, the header panel is a fiberglass piece from vfn, I made some fiberglass round tube using a 4 inch PVC coupler with saran wrap wrapped around it as the form , I cut the holes and just fiberglassed the pieces in and then just bodywork from there

alex n 12-14-2017 10:57 AM

Grendel. Looks like I might not use them, if I don’t I’ll gladly sell you them
