I'm glad everyone approves. I can't wait to see the response it gets when I start taking it to shows. And ya'll remember that their is no interior in right now and no driveshaft. After everything else gets put on it will sit lower.

It's a manuel rack from flaming river.

Wow, wow, and wow. That car has come a long ways! I love the history of it, being your grandparents car. You should be very proud. Very nice work.

Well it's been a while since I have had an update about the progress of the 65. Things are moving a little slower now but we are currently in the process of finishing her up. At the moment the only thing left is the wiring, stereo system, install the interior, install the glass and the door poppers and get a drive shaft made. I'm sure I will come across other things aswell but those are the only major things left to do. Here are some up to date pics of what the car looks like. I am looking to have it all said and done with sometime in July. Let's keep are fingers crossed! By the way I still havent figured out what I am going to put on the plates yet. ANy ideas would be appretiated. They just can't be more then 6 letters/numbers, right now I am leaning towords "No Dice" and "SLIC 65"

All the body mods available for the Mustang are amazing.

I really wish SOMEONE would offer the same types of things for the first gen Camaro's. Hint, Hint!!

Those look like Shelby Cobra side mirrors.

That looks like one of my free chops. Free chops = almost correct paint :D
Perhaps it's not

Anyway your ride is fantastic so far can't wait to see it finished.
Did you minitube the rear? I just always thought those coupes were kind of small in the rear wells.

deuce_454 06-09-2007 03:02 AM

Ok guys and gals, what do you think about the body mod choices that are available for the Mustang?

What would you think about having some real choices for the 1st or second gen Camaro's?

What body mods do you think would be good to have??

***UPDATE***
It should be done in a few weeks. All thats left is finishing the fuel system, snapping in the interior, buff out the paint and finish tightening everything up.

Wow. looks great. Good to see a 65 coupe getting done this style.

FETorino 10-20-2007 10:04 PM

Very nice coup for sure

Great color, drivetrain, nice wheel and tire combo. Very clean car. Why no X or H pipe on the exhaust?

JamesJ 10-21-2007 11:57 AM

you may want to think about putting a filter before the pump, unless there is on in the tank. just an option...

awr68 10-21-2007 12:11 PM

Nicely done, love the color combos! Did the motor come with a shoe horn? :)

COYBILT 10-23-2007 02:17 AM

Looks great! Nice job

MSTSFabbed 04-24-2010 11:48 AM

Looks good! That looked like a REALLY solid car to start with! Those floors and trunk looked incredible. My 67 was trashed. Thank you for building a block off panel for the gap above the lower billet grill! First person I've seen do that and the gap looks terrible otherwise!

baggins 04-28-2010 01:09 AM

just curious how did you get the 17x9's to fit up front?
