I can have the Danville Dukes plaque fixed..... maybe (more like I'll have it digitally scanned - 3D modeled - and a new one hand cast from the mold...)
It's only just an "antique".... and belonged to Gary Meadors.... I'm on my THIRD car of the tour..... started with the '68 Vette that won Good-Guys 2015 Street Machine of the Year.... broke it in the Snap-On parking lot.... So had to switch to the Good-Guys (Gary's) '32 Ford Sedan.... "Rudy" was helping me back up #@$&**+@#... This afternoon I'm driving the Good-Guys Mustang Give-a-Way car.... LOL In the morning (Thurday - day #6) I'm back in the '32 -- and get to see the '40 Ford Pickup at Custom Hot Rods of Andice and make some decisions on some details. Maybe -- doubtful -- I can keep Ed and Charley out of it this time. |

So this is the Good-Guys '32 that was Gary Meadors car... I think Ed said it has 267K miles on it.... I drove it from day 2 on.....

EEEEEEHHHHHAAAAAA https://lateral-g.net/forums/attachme...1&d=1506823352 When we got near Austin Texas --- Rudy and I swapped in to the Good-Guys Give-away Mustang to go up to have dinner in the restaurant my daughter Adrienne, is a Sous Chef at (ATX Cocina). It was getting dark and it was raining when we were to depart the Vintage Air tour - and taking the Mustang sure made the hour drive north easier in heavy traffic!!! We stayed the night there (Austin) and surprised her by showing up. Then this pic (of the Mustang with Rudy and I in it) is the next morning as we all met up at CHRA for a tour of their shop (they're building my '40 Ford Pickup). https://lateral-g.net/forums/attachme...1&d=1506823352 I can't thank Good-Guys - and everyone involved with these tours - enough!
