I was kinda hoping Charlie was going to spend the money on the R&D for an S10 chassis as I would have considered building another one.

Well i guess I will have to build a 67 Camaro next

Steve68 11-15-2019 09:55 AM

Had one, too damn small inside for me, and the steering wheels is right there!!all the time, had the motor, trans, rear, etc had to get rid of it, even had a 2.8 Camaro HO motor, it would move for a little truck with a little motor,

Nice truck Charlie, might be a little tight in the cab........

So way back in the day when I had a few dozen Syclones & Typhoons. There was a TSB on the Syclone gas tank. Under Hard Acceleration with the fuel below 1/4 tank there would be starvation issue.

and i am enjoying watching this build as one day I will build another one or just buys yours.

Pretty sure all GM vehicles had fuel issues if you took the tank below 1/4 tank during that era, Marty. If it wasn't fuel starvation it was fuel pump burn out. I've had GM almost my entire life. I rarely ever let the fuel get low enough to turn the low lamp on because of this. Hell, with my 96 Formula, I rarely went below 1/4 tank because of the issues with GM pumps. Terrible design looking back on it, but that's growing pains and learning about fuel injection.

Hush let's keep that quiet as there is a better chance of me being able to scoop it up after it's finished.

I’m old and a inch shorter than I used to be.

I was 5' 7" when I walked into chemo and 6 months later I was 5' 6" so I know how you feel.

Is that the stock tank next to it? Looks much bigger than stock. Where's it from?

Awesome build!

Did you name the truck yet or are we going with the original concept? :lmao:

clill 11-24-2019 05:43 AM

Stielow and Gordon are naming it Thumper because of the wheel hop I’m going to experience.

Ridetech bolt-on 3-link coil-over set-up should help that.

Really love the tartan seat cover. Please keep it if you can.

Hey Charlie, what are you going to do for gauges? Looks like a cool swap!

clill 11-27-2019 06:36 AM

Featherlite Composites makes a composite dash would might make it easier to fit and open up a ton of room behind the dash.

I still have a 67 Camaro under construction at Sled Alley but it keeps getting sidetracked by crap like this.

This LSA had the blower removed. Low hp cruiser.

SSLance 11-27-2019 04:49 PM

Those Ridetech boxes should really help...
