Not a big step but its better than nothing.
The hooker t56 hump is a really nice piece, I love the oem look https://i.postimg.cc/5tP1xRJf/20200607_093618.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/TwpxhJ2g/20200607_103245.jpg |
I don't think you'll be able to use half height subframe bushings with that tunnel piece. I tried using it on my car which has half height subframe bushings. It wouldn't fit my already modified tunnel which I kind of expected. However, I ended up cutting way further forward towards the firewall to get the floor to clear the transmission in the end. Had Holley's piece fit my floor, I would have had to modify it further. It's a good looking piece for sure.

I have regular solid bushing. I see some guys running it without problems with hooker crossmember and mounts
|
I used that same trans tunnel metal part. Full bushings and no issues. its close on front part of tunnel you do not cut. do not think half heights would clear like said previously.
clean job on that btw. getting it to fit flush and all is a little work. What are you going to use as top plate? |
I will use a billet boot ring directly on the tunnel with a sheet of 18ga to fill the hole. All bolted with rivnuts to keep access to the top of the transmission. I will do that in a week or two

Can you still get DP90 in Canada or it is DPLF?

Great work. I always check this thread first when I visit LATG.
IS that some sort of truck bed lining spray on the undercarriage? The DP90 you mentioned earlier. I wish you were my neighbor. LOL. Having your build next door would light a fire under my ass to start back up on mine. thanks, Jim |

Tell me about the 9/16 drill bit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Instruction tell to use a unibit but I wasnt able to drill the hole on the rear mount. I use a 9/16 drill bit. Shank side was 1/2. I welded it on a 1/2 rod and it worked real good. |
Just finished to repair lower doors frames and reskin them
