I'm kinda partial to the Vintage Wheel works V40's and V45's, I think the V40's would look great on there, fit the relatively stock/vintage style of the exterior perfectly. Not exactly a unique look, though, but not quite as common as the Torque thrusts.

Man, I really like those, but they don't make them big enough. I need a 18x12 for the rear.

thanks again guys,

The Fikse FM10 is the closest thing I've seen. These would look great on that car with a gold anodized center.

With the very round bulges in the fenders and quarters, I think it is time you try some Forgeline SP3Ps. The rounded 5 spoke lends itself nicely to rounded panels.

And BTW, you have the hook up right here.

I think this car needs a standard lip hoop.....

Forgelines.. WC3s just like Penny.. same charcoal colored center..

You know I'm right.. so make the call.. lol

rocketman 11-10-2006 06:49 PM

That trans am is to muscle car for the Fikse's,Forgeline's,Boze or any wheel like that,I would stay with the TT2's or go with like a Billet Specialties wheel, think 18's and 20's would look great on it.

Some pictures that Kyle sent me. He put on a Fikse Profil 5S that was on Stacy's Camaro.. What do you guys think??

Personally, I like the longer thinner spoke and fatlip of the Forgeline better then the Fiske. But I think this gives a good idea of wht they may look like and it is going in the direction I like.

Wish I could photchop Penny's Forgeline wheels onto your car.. I think the charcoal centered mesh wheels would look killer.

Those Fiske wheels look very nice as well.. a dark centered wheel would give the car more of a "bad ass" look though.

Go with the Fikse Profil 10

awr68 11-11-2006 02:02 PM

SW the 5s looks good, perhaps Mark will let you borrow the wheels off Camaro X so you can see them with a dark center...well it was a thought!! :)

I am still pulling for the mesh look though....big suprise eigh. :)

I think mesh would be the way to go. I also think you should stick with a darker color center. I would go 18x12 rear and 18x8 front (assuming you have stock front subframe). Even though the car looks stock, this style wheel would definitely lean toward the road race look. Just my 2 cents. GO 2ND GENS!!!!!!

18" Budnik Knuckles. Could have handled an extra inch of dimater all the way around IMO

Stuart Adams 11-15-2006 03:42 PM

SW, what is the final answer?? It will look killer mini tubbed!

markss28 11-16-2006 10:50 AM

I like I forged wheels. the really look nice and are very compatable to HRE's just a hair less expensive.

Ok, I talked with Steve R. and he suggested Forgeline like his. I
called them and they said it would take 6-7 weeks! I'm kinda on a time crunch so I called my guys at Fikse and they said they could build me a set of anything I needed in 2.5 weeks. I wanted something that looked like the old WS6 wheels and and for the first time, I ordered some FM10's. After seeing Anthony's wheels, I really like the "mesh" look. I have to make up my mind about if I'm going with the standard finish or blk finish center by tomorrow..

thanks again for all the input,

SW

My vote is for the brushed center standard finish... not black.

Nice choice I think they will look great. Are you going to sell the TTIIs? They would look good on my 70 camaro if you plan to sell them.

Went by DSE yesterday to pick up my Dash insert and saw you car. Tubs are already in...man they work fast. Could not really comment on your car except to say the bottom is real clean....up in the air and sealed up nicely in an automotive condom.
