I bet the answer will be the "C4 stuff is too wide. it is a good 6-8 inches wider than the C5 stuff and that is just the lengths of the arms and the knuckle is also wider.

CraigMorrison 12-09-2006 06:45 AM

Well we had our photographer shoot some pics of the LS engine with all accessories bolted in place and 265's lock to lock with plenty of clearence. Will post a few more teazer shots on Monday.

For those who have been asking, we are planning on offering this with C5 components only. We are also looking into the posibility of Pontiac engine mounts for the Poncho crowd.

Pricing is still being worked on, but we're trying to keep it very close to Wayne Due's price point. It should put us smack in the middle of the range. Some less expensive, some more expensive. More info when available.....

Thanks for all the feedback, we really appreciate it!

Looks like Craig was kind enough to post some "Installed" Shots, as he had promised:

Looks good Craig!

Silver69Camaro 12-21-2006 06:27 AM

As you can tell, there is plenty of room for the AC compressor. As I've said before, this subframe allows the use of the common F-body LS1 engine accessory mounting, so expensive aftermarket brackets are not needed.

Matt or Craig,
Any idea on delivery dates? Not looking to hold you to a specific date, just looking for a rough time frame. TIA

Sure, we're looking at late January so far. Currently we're getting headers made, so that option will be available. Everything is proceeding smoothly and on schedule.

XcYZ 12-21-2006 09:53 AM

Matt, what header options are you guys putting together? SBC, BBC, LSx, LS7, etc?

Thx Matt

Are these being made on the new bender? Just curious.

Silver69Camaro 12-21-2006 11:21 AM

Yep! These are indeed on the new bender. The capability on this new machine is amazing and opens up the door for some new projects that we couldn't do before.

Currently, header options will be SBC, BBC, and LSX. If you are using an LS7 or a dry sump deal, let Craig or I know.

Sweet! I was hoping you would say that!

Rick D 12-22-2006 07:06 AM

Any idea of pricing yet? Is there going to be a list that we can get on for when they are ready to be sold?

Thanks

CraigMorrison 12-27-2006 02:39 AM

Rick- pricing should be finished (I'm out of the office right now, so I will check on that in the next day or so)......as far as a list, please either PM me your phone# or give our tech guys a ring and leave your details with them. The goal is to have production pieces available at the end of Jan 07. The biggest hurdle was sorting out our new bender, and that has been done. Hope this helps!

Comp,
Are you asking if you can put air bags on our setup? I don't know of any kits currently available for that, but it may be possible. One of the small Shockwaves may fit, I haven't investigated that area.

Mustang

Sorry to ask a Ford question but will your Corvette front clips be able to welded into a 67-68 mustang?
Thank you
