we will get photos of the body as soon as it looks like something . right now it looks like a camaro body in primer .

How are you setting up the Paddle Shifter with the Tremac?
Who makes the shifter parts, or is this a one-off piece?

Thanks,

TY

the shifter is from a company called " american supercars " is is for a tko600
we cannot show photos because it is not out to the public yet . but it is a well built part .

I saw a thread on this shifter setup on one of the sites. If I recall correctly, it does not have anything to do with the clutch actuation, so you still have to work the clutch pedal as if you were shifting with the normal shift lever. What it does is allow you keep both hands on the wheel, clutch, pull on the up/down shift paddle. Or I guess you could just hold your right foot down, pull the paddle and hope for the best
:)

I'm interested to see how it works. It would take some practice - at least for me to remember to not reach for the shifter handle!

Later,

Brandon

yes you still have to clutch, you can pull the shift paddle 1 to 4 times then the next time you clutch the car it will shift 1 to 4 gears at a time . so if you want to shift from 1st to 3rd , pull the shifter 2 times then clutch . we are about to start mounting the system , i will keep you informed how it works .

Outstanding job on the rear suspension install, guys. Looks great from my vantage point. And yes, if you need to notch the frame, it's going to be really, REALLY low!!! Should make quite a statement.

Travis was cool enough to share some of the details of the build, which I was told to keep in strict confidence. Which I am. But it's tough, because the car has some really neat ideas and features, hard to not just blurt it all out. I have confidence that it will be one of the very coolest Camaros ever built (and not just because we are part of the build...). Can't wait to see it in person.

Great job guys!
Mark

it may end up polished by the time we are done. The only thing that bothers us about it is to muched polished...the motor was done when we got the car alrad yapinted and chromed. Had we had anything to do with it you would be looking at a completely BRUSHED BBC from top to bottom.

syborg tt 05-30-2007 01:46 PM

customcam 08-20-2007 07:22 PM

thats cool
looks awsome Tb
what size rears and tyres if its cool to ask?

TravisB 08-20-2007 07:25 PM

I think they will be 285rear 275 front

The rears we wanted run wouldnt fit to achieve the ride hieght we wanted without major sugery. So thats what we settled on. wheels will be 19x10's and 18x9's.

pictured are our rollers with unwelded centers they are 19's and 20's 275 rear in the picture.
