actually If you would not mind, I would like to take over your car or we could settle on the motor and the pully set up instead..... Weeeeelllllll guess that answer is no way...:willy: Awesome ride and great set up Blessings, |
Sorry Mike, it was not on purpose. I avoided it until it required answers.
Back to our regularly scheduled programing. BTW, I vote for Carbon Fiber also. |

You could also do something that has carbon fiber inside (trim, gauge, seat backs, shifter etc) and then something in the back. That way you keep the carbon idea from front to back.

Ok some more updates. Sorry about the picture quality. I shot it in Raw form and it came out like crap. Here are the pictures and updates.
They had to change a few things. We went with a tranny cooler for the steering pump fluid, valve covers had to be changed for the breather hole locations and I didn't want to drill out the ZZ430 covers. All the fittings and everything else under the hood is going black or nickle for fittings. All the spark plug wires are being routed under the car. http://img509.imageshack.us/img509/4620/crw0276fj5.jpg http://img509.imageshack.us/img509/9702/crw0279go0.jpg Just a quick under car shot. http://img509.imageshack.us/img509/3242/crw0281je2.jpg Here is the fabbed up drive shaft loop. The parking brakes are being redesigned to flow down the side of the frame on one side, and should very much improve the use of it. http://img511.imageshack.us/img511/4337/crw0284sb1.jpg |
Go Man Go!!
Looks good! Cant wait to hear it!!

Mike, local guy checking in
Mike,
Chris here. Hope you are well. I have been talking with Kevin at C.A.R. a bit about your car and he said it was coming together. Your car looks great. Is your pro charger intercooled? I cannot tell as it appears the plumbing is not done yet. I just finished doing a bit of top end work to my 68. It sports a Vortech V1- T-trim with Ice Vex air-to-air intercooler custom intake. We need to get together and run these cars. Here are a few links to some pics I took tonight. http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u...gine_front.jpg http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u...river_side.jpg http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u..._pass_side.jpg Take care, Chris |
one more pic
Mike,
This last picture shows the intercooler a bit better. Let me know when your car is back together so we can connect. http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u...ntercooler.jpg Chris |
Hey Chris how are you? Yeah Kevin told me that they have a rush on my car so that they can get yours in for some stuff. Steve Vella's vert is in there too. Yeah Ill be ready to run in a week, Ill contact you this week or weekend coming up to see what your schedule is like. Ill introduce you to Steve Broscoe. He's got that crazy 69 they finished not to long ago. He want's to get a few of us running our cars around. Ill keep in touch and I cannot wait too see your car (again)

connecting
Mike,
Yea, give me a call when your car is back on the road. I think I met Steve and I saw his car at a few shows. It is the two tone black and orange car right? Awsome car. As for my 68....I think this car is new to you. After selling the 69 I owned an 07 ZO6 for about 45 days before I realized what I wanted was another Camaro. So, I found this present car in TX. It arrived about 3 weeks ago and has been apart \ ungoing some changes in my garage since it arrived. Since Kevin \ C.A.R. was backed up I took on the work with the help of a buddy and we got it all done. Took us a while (and cost us a few busted knucles) but it is done. At any rate, attached are a few links this the new car. http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u...river_side.jpg http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u..._pass_side.jpg http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u...amaro_dash.jpg Take care, Chris |

the 68
Mike,
Thanks for the compliments. Yea, I like this car a bit more than the 69. The 69 was a very nice car but I think it had a (very) hard life before I owned it. The net of it was the car was never quite right and would have required a pretty extensive overhaul to be better. No knock on the guy who did most of the work on the 69 (Jason at Timless Kustoms) as he is an awsome builder but I think he was given a rough car at the start. This 68 is a fresher car and simply runs better. I am not afraid to run this car all over town for fear of overheating, tire rub, blower issues, etc. Chris |
Mike,
The car is looking good. Hopefully someday I can get a ride in it to see how mine might run. Congrats! |
