Thats some sweet looking stuff you got there Nick. It just keeps getting better !

Just read through the thread. Looks really good!

thanks guys! gotta a lot to do, unfortunately I can't get the length I wanted in these shocks so I need to do some thinking since I want this truck to lay frame then ride at 5" and still have a little upward travel

I plan to use an Accuair management system instead of the ART stuff though. |
Nice Nice, I was going to run the Accuair till I talked to Tony
ART builds a hell of a management system from what I am told, but I wanted something that was active while I drive. My truck is my daily and sees it's share of crappy roads and highways, so any advantage I can get, I'll take...
As far as I knew you could change it while driving... I could be wrong, and If I am I'll have to adjust that.
You can adjust the height while driving, but once you set the height, the system falls asleep (according to ART's website). From what I understand, Accuair's system will continually adjust itself as you drive, much like an active suspension system on a modern car like the Corvette.
Oh I see what you're saying, not sure if I would want it trying to level constantly.
I have some input for your shock dilema... Just do a rocker arm and push-rod for the shocks. You can make the rocker arm the correct ratio to get the length out of the shocks you need. Not sure on the space restrictions... if there's room you can keep the cool shocks, and have an over-complicated, but cool shock set-up.
