Thanks Shannon..... I would love to show how I wired up your remote trunk but we did it so stealth that there is NO trace of ANY wires !
We were able to snake it down the lid, into the trunk hinge, down the backside of the wheel well, across the lower package tray and then down the trans tunnel. We have a really trick idea for the button mount inside the center console.... you will be happy !

I did the same thing in the trunk area, except I ran in with an existing bundle up to the firewall and put the button in the glove box like my dad's old Buick. Still feels cool to hit the button though.

Can't wait to see the door panels and how the Clayton pieces work with it. Planning the same sometime in the distant future.

The idea for the interior was to have something that resembles a new luxury car. In other words.... "classy" or "elegant" and not too "street rod".
So the truck was covered up in an OEM material and basically has no thrills:

The headliner is getting a slim decorative console trimmed with billet strips (not 100% on this design yet).

Oooops. Meant to say "vent" window frames.

[QUOTE=HRBS;347800]Bossanova,
As far as the 1/4 windows.... (if you are refering to Vent Windows), they were fairly easy to dissassemble. QUOTE]

glad i found this one!

Are the bumpers going to remain the way shown some pictures back?
Can you post a couple up close pics of the bolts in the front bay area?
When the dash was made; that is fiberglass with leather covering, if so- what adhesive was used?
Side mirrors?

Great build

Thanks !
For now....the Bumpers will stay but I may shave the bolts in the future.
Page 14 of this thread has some really good close ups of the bolts/washers both on and off the car. The dash was carved from dense foam then glazed with fiberglass, sanded to shape and then wrapped. The adhesive is the standardized stuff upholsterers use.

I finally chose a Steering Wheel. Althought I completely changed the look of it, its still an "off the shelf" piece.

Here is the start of the rear seat which will be a bench but resemble a pair of buckets:

Once the all the trim was repaired and scotch brited it was prepared for Satin Matte Black Powdercoat.

Just out of curiosity, did you strip the chrome trim or did you just scuff it up and powdercoat it? I wanna do the blacked out trim as well...
