Car is 90% seam sealed. I was waiting on doing the rear section until after two last things were finished up in the rear. This is one of the two things needed done. Sadly there is a few projects going on with the car that it has been strongly recommended to me that I not post online at this point:unibrow: . Now that they are both done the bare metal will be epoxied and seam sealed then its ready for paint.

Got lots of stuff done over the past few weeks with the little bit of time I've had to work on the car. First we got the watts link bracket and fuel cell cage masked off and painted.

Thanks guys.
I just worked it with a ball peen hammer then a body hammer to get all the dents out. |

Its been a bit since my last update. Didn't get much work on the car done for sometime then I started picking it up again here and there. Got quite a bit done paint wise too.
Engine cleaned and prepped for paint. http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...46417574_n.jpg Then got it shot in epoxy. http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...94939296_n.jpg Mixed up some paint I had around the house and ended up with this color. Didn't care for it at first but the more I look at the the more I like it. http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...36591903_n.jpg Also got the transmission stripped and painted. http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...01296607_n.jpg http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...06149705_n.jpg And got them both assembled http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...94820406_n.jpg Most importantly I got my sub frame back! http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...10793111_n.jpg And installed http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...57163526_n.jpg Taking advantage of the exhaust notches in the trunk I built a washer jug to clean up the engine bay and move weight to the rear. http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...88400704_n.jpg http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...30440756_n.jpg Today I started removing the last of the cancer. http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...97103897_n.jpg I ended for the night with about half the lip repaired. http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...84438033_n.jpg |
