The Nova was picked up in Oxnard & driven home to Irvine.. I think about 70 miles.. No tow truck yet..

Sorry to hear about the issues you have had Greg.. I must admit I held back the Nova back about two weeks from the date I was suppose to send it home.. but Mike was very patient & I explained to him that I would take care of it.. electrical issues.. a shock that needed to be re-positioned.. trans tunnel needed more clearance for driveshaft.. damm tach was driving me nuts.. but I took car of it.. I am always learning something new.. I hate deadlines.. but know that they are required..

Bottom line I stand behind my work 110%.. & always ask the customer to be given the opportunity to fix a problem before taking it else where..

Here for you buddy! Just let me know if I can help..

My guess is that the NOVA ran and drove and didn't return to the shop on a tow truck like my super simple little '32 Ford did....(for the third time now)

I've never built one yet that didn't have growing pains... I don't have any issues with growing pains -- I have issues with ATTITUDE.... you have the right one.

ALL shops can learn from my little debacle... there's the wrong way and the right way. The right way is to just say "so sorry -- get it in here and we'll get it done just as fast as we can"! That's all a customer wants to hear. No excuses - no finger pointing...

I've hung around with you enough to know how you operate -- you'd just be "the right way".

I really don't post very much here at Lateral G....so this is somewhat of an introduction.......... (I post as "ssmike" on PT.com and SNS - :D)

I do want to say "Thank You" to everyone for the compliments and kind words about the Nova. It has turned out fantastic. Cris is very, very skilled at his craft.

I have been driving the car quite a bit the last few weeks trying to shake down any issues and work out the bugs. I tore out the old headliner tonight, and prepped the car for Dynamat on Thursday.

By far, my favorite thing about the LSx/T-56 combo is the fact that at 80 mph on GPS, my motor spins 2K rpms in 6th gear.

More to follow....:lateral:

Have any pics of the trans trunnel mods required to fit the T56? Any fitment issues w/ the Edelbrock mounts/headers?

Did I miss the story somewhere? Getting pulled over by two law enforcement agency's has got to be a good one.

The Edelbrock mounts work pretty good.. I like them for the price.. THe headers are also a nice fit but I did have to dimple the tube on the driver side that is close to the gear box.. I like using 2nd gen Camaro trans supports & modify them to fit the way I think works best.. requires sub modifications..

Here are some pics! hope it helps..
