I agree. It's all about balance. Not easy to do.

Car is looking super sharp! How about some closer pics of that engine bay. I'd like to get a better look at how you ran things. That's going to be my next big challenge.

Interior Ideas

Randy, I get a lot of comments on how people like the modded 'stock' look of my interior, and my seats are similar to yours ... anyway this may give you some ideas, and btw the seats are awesome

Your interior does look great. That would be the farthest modified i would do. I would leave the recaro letters off, do the stitching, Change the window cranks and door handles is what i was thinking so far

Very well done! Not overstated, but much cleaner and more practical than stock. I like my builds the same, overall stock "look" but tasteful modern touches.

Lets talk about fluids

T56 magnum

- tremecs website say Dexron III ATF and it also says not to use full synthetic
- Now I've seen some people run redline d4 atf which is a synthetic.
- So why would tremec say not to use it yet steilow is using it in his car?
- What fluid is everyone else using? Synthetic or not?
- How many qt. do i need?

Ls3 480hp crate engine

- What oil is used to break in a new GM crate engine?
- I was thinking about using joe gibbs driven br30 oil to break it in.
- I don't think GM used break in oil so why not put 5w30 synthetic in right away?

dse ford 9" with tru track

- Do you use break in gear oil?
- Synthetic or reg?
- What weight and why?

info for me
- Hook the vss output wire ( brown ) from the bulkhead to the speedometer signal wire
- Hook the tach ( white ) from the bulkhead to the gauge tach signal wire
- Hook the Oil pressure ( Tan/white ) from the bulkhead to the gauges signal wire
- For the water temperature, there is a port located on the right side (passenger side) of the engine, in the cylinder head, past the last exhaust port (closest to the firewall / flywheel). There is a plug threaded in this location, that can be removed. This threaded in plug will either require an 8mm Allen Wrench, or a T52 Torx bit. There will be no noticeable difference in temperature reading when using the shorter sender. The 2277 adapter requires a 3/4" wrench, and the 2259 sender requires a 12mm wrench. Be careful to only tighten the adapter into the head until the crush washer is flattened. Do not over tighten.
- for the voltmeter just hook up the ignition wire from the gauge harness to the gauge
- Samoco unit should be used for the reverse lockout solenoid. You could run it off of the brake pedal but some people have stated some issues. Link to the samoco unit is http://www.wirebarn.com/T56--TR6060-...ule_p_470.html
- The for fuel gauge run ......

Rear Diff fluid I'm going to run some valvoline 80w90 non synthetic

Trans fluid just some atf valvoline non synthetic for 500 miles and then switch to redline d4

Engine br30 to break it in and then 5w30 synthetic after that
