Nice collection of parts. Must have bigger pictures of the Firebird:hail:

I was actually thinking that you would like to see that car as I took the pictures. I will see if there is a bigger /better pic

Thanks Eric, I'm glad that I looked at those in a bigger format. I just figured out that my tranny cooler:_paranoid would not have fit with the upper close out panels. I will have to lower it down. That car is pretty sweet looking:D I love the color.

No problem. It is a really nice car. The cloth top looks like it belongs on a Bently.
I dont know the color code but to me it looks darker than Cortez Silver. Maybe Chris knows.

Thanks! That's a polished Edelbrock perf rpm intake and a holley 670 street avenger carb from GW.

Thanks Ron. He & I have a blast together.

Engine update: dropping the pistons of with my machine guy tomorrow so he can finish hone the bores to size. I ended up with a different block and its a 4 bolt too.
I am able to re use the pistons that came with the block I got from Greg.
He also has a nice set of H beam forged rods for me.
Now I am down to buying rings, bearings and gaskets for the bottom end.

I also need a hyd roller cam. But am not sure which one to get. Any suggestions on lift, duration, LSA?
Iron heads (RHS Pro topline), 388cid, Eddy perf rpm intake,10:1 comp,
No power adders.
Want good power but its a street motor first.

Get a comp cams THUMPER -- great sound -- head turner -- good manors... good bottom end power. SMALLER is BETTER in cams for the street.

Thanks Greg. Do you have a suggestion on lift/duration/lsa?

The lobe separation angle is confusing to me. Is a tighter angle better? Wider better? On a carb'd engine where do I draw the line?
