Scratch built dimensionally,but made from steel and aluminum for security reasons .

Technically it was not IRS it was a DeDion Tube rear suspension.

Looks like an IRS to me..... this particular version may have its own name. A DeDion Tube Rear Suspension is an IRS, but a suspension that is an IRS doesn't make it a DeDion Tube Rear Suspension.

Yeap you are correct. Up until 3 weeks ago I had never even heard of a DeDion. I bet most have not since they made I believe, 1. Whatever the heck it is, it is way ahead of it's time. :D
