How about this:unibrow: Beat the snot out of it at every event possible this year and then take it to paint prison. The events will take a toll on your new paint job.

Chris I'm glad to hear the engine worked out for you. Did you sell the 67 yet? I had some guy from down under email me about finishing the car after the first of the year.

So far the motor has definitely "worked out" :unibrow: No money has exchanged hands of yet but he sounds like he's gonna take it. Kinda weird, I've had two other emails this week asking if the car is still available from a couple guys i had spoken with previously. Guess we'll see what happens ;)

Maybe it will work out for both of us.

Dude, yes indeed. Listen to the voice of wisdom here. Todd knows what he's talking about when he makes that statment. Get the bugs worked out, put miles on the car at the track and on the road. I would def paint if after that---I can't believe the road rash my car has from 8 events and almost 7,000 miles on it in this past year alone.

I'd leave the paint scheme as is, but I am biased.

Doug

That was the original plan to leave the paint scheme as is. However, once we started getting into removing the chrome pieces and emblems we hit the "snowball" effect! One thing led to another and instead of doing it half assed now & going back later to do it all over again I just decided to do it right the first time and get it done now :unibrow: We have already completed the body work and the car is in primer, they will start blocking in the car next week and get it ready to shoot :D

Once it leaves paint prison it's game on!!! :unibrow:

I can't wait to see the Camaro after the paint is finished.

Yesterday we painted the hood, rear deck lid, doors and all the miscelaneous parts. They will prep the car itself on Monday to paint on Tuesday, cant wait :unibrow: I'll post some pics late next week once its all painted. Still tossing the matte black stripes around but I really think I wanna try it and see how it looks! I figure my last car was solid black so lets make this one a little diffirent.
