Thank you. It's hard to accurately describe how special Dane's are, you have to live with them 24/7 to really understand. I doubt I'll be without one the rest of my life. As special as they are they deserve to live 20 years instead of 7-10.

Great looking Dane and photos Sieg

That got me thinking about my dogs past and present.

Here is Sam at a local lake.

You'll notice he is on a leash. That's because he was a real liability. I found out why pure bred GS were used as police dogs. He would attack anything or anyone that threatened me. Actually he was given to me because he killed 2 neighboring dogs of his original owner.

Truly a one-master animal.

He was only 85 lbs when I got him, and when he passed away suddenly from an enlarged heart at 8, he was 130 lbs. He was fine one night and then in the morning the poor animal couldn't even walk. He passed at the vets a couple of hours later. It was devastating for me.

Thanks for allowing me to post this, it brings back memories.

I told her if she gets a Fiat 500 I'll make it fit, but not the L model. :whistling:

SSLance 02-08-2014 10:28 AM

I'd rather have 12" of snow than a 1/4" of ice... Ice then snow is an even worse combination...

Makes for good picture taking though.

I took well over 250 lbs. of ice off the trampoline this morning! The perimeter was 1/4-3/8" thick and 3/4" in the center.

It's now turning to frozen rain here in Portland. It's going to suck I just know ill lose power. They don't maintain the trees around the power lines around my house. It will be 50 and raining in a few days so it will be gone by next week.

Only up side I've seen is the photo ops. The rest of it (freezing rain) basically sucks! :D

Sieg, that was without a doubt one of the most mesmerizing close up shots I have seen in this thread. Leave it to mother nature to trump the many many quality rides that get posted. Nice catch.:flashie:

Some really nice photos there Jimmy!

I love the one of the frozen playground - and seeing he blade of grass inside the ice cube... and the one of the little boy is priceless. Two cruise ships are bigger than the whole town they're moored at... too funny!

Wow Jimmy, nice!

Thanks guys. I like cool pics, just don't have the equipment for really good pics. All of mine are off either my phone or a cheap pentax camera that i used to have. The old chevy and rooster is from a building mission trip went on in Mexico and the other is from the MMCC a couple years ago, trying to figure out some carburator issues.
