Great news Ron,
I am trying to fit up the dash pad what a pain in the A$$ with the DSE dash, it's terrible fit, brand new and old pad fit like $hit. Good luck with yours. |
Cool  I think you're making progress :headscratch:
You are making progress right.:sieg:  |

On my Brother in laws '69 with the DSE dash -- I ended up having the upholstery shop make a whole new one and had him cover it etc -- $1200 and it matches the rest of the beautiful job he did (rather than that cheap ass plastic thing) and fits like a glove. http://i919.photobucket.com/albums/a...o/file-150.jpg http://i919.photobucket.com/albums/a...o/file-152.jpg |
GW's solution looks great, if it's out of your budget I found a solution too........

Sounds like a system meltdown right? It's a ground and a resister issue and that's about it. The car electrical system is currently is ground to the frame and the motor. To test it we ran a ground from the E38 computer to the battery. Also checked the pin outs: OBDII Port: POSITION 4 TO GROUND POSITION 5 TO GROUND POSITION 6 TO BLACK ECM CONNECTOR POSITION 28 POSITION 14 TO BLACK ECM CONNECTOR POSITION 27 POSITION 16 IS SWITCHED 12-VOLTS Here's the Autometer Tach/resistor issue. http://i885.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps08723ced.jpg |
