Back on the oiling subject. I plan on running a radiator with heat exchanger in it for my oil cooling. To do this I picked up the following trinket. R C&R filter diverter combo valve. This will let me regulate the level of oil cooling based on need. The oil needs to be 215 deg to prevent moisture buildup but no reason to run much above that. When I get the car back home I'll start laying out the plumbing figure out who is going to build the radiator for me and determine the radiator dimensions.

The scavenging out and pressure in fittings on my pump are AN16 as is the, in and return, on my tank. My pressure out on the pump is AN12 as is the fittings on this remote filter bypass valve combo. I think I may also run an Oberg style filter in the line from the pump to the tank.

No chance of that, a lot of my stuff is second hand. Look there are a couple scratches on my C&R valve that part would be rejected by QC before making it on Ron's car.

Thanks Ron. Like I said I wish I was on the home stretch like you are and I still have parts envy. My RST doesn't have a gold ring :wow: WTF how is it all your parts are more bling, even when they are the same thing? :D

Love that C&R piece... I see those when I do my weekly "nascar sbc" or similar search on ebay and always wanted to implement that somehow. You done good. :woot:

Except if it's a floater then you need a hybrid with C6 parts or you're doomed. :willy:

Bummer is moving forward there aren't many parts I need I am likely to score a deal on so my build will likely slow a bit. I still have a big, big parts, shoping list.

Tremec T56 Magnum close ratio
Tilton Hydro throwout bearing
Custom driveshaft and some other small parts for the trans.
Wheels (probably Forgelines) and Michelins Geeze I need to find a $$ tree for those :wow:
Custom Radiator sized right with heat exchanger
A bunch of high $$ 16an and12an fittings and oil lines.
Shocks for my chassis Ride tech or JRI
A set of 6 piston 14" Willwoods for my front to match up with my rear set up.
Seats :faint:

Yea I know a lot more little nickel and dime stuff just to get it on the track and ugly. Then I have to start saving for Paint and interior.

I like the idea of a packaged cooling system. The ability to control the amount of cooling is needed and the C&R part will get that done. + I needed a remote oil filter anyway and the price was right. :unibrow:
