Good gawd Ron! Hurry up already!

Between you and Dave and his "street car" (named Desire?).... Social Security will be broke and out of business before you two get these done.

It looks great BTW....:D

When you did your Mustang I remember you saying you MIG'ed it all "as it would have taken forever to TIG".

Are you now a TIG convert for sheet metal ?

I've been converting to TIG too, when I can get the gaps tight. The more "visible" it is the more I gravitate towards it, assuming I can get a hammer and dolly on it afterwards. But I'm still quick to grab the MIG when I need something simple or "non-visible". Usually what happens is my panel gap varies a bit here and there, so I TIG everything that's tight, and MIG the wider gaps. My favorite thing about the TIG is the piece doesn't move around so much when you are tacking it like the MIG.

I've been widening my Mustang 4" so I'm deep into this phase (again) myself.

The design is looking good-for an AMX

"Slow down Greg", I'm sure that's not the first time you've heard that.LOL

And Social Security is already bankrupt, so Dave and I can take our time.

Yeah I'm tigging everything I can. To be honest I just hate the sparks of the mig anymore. I do use it for tacking just because I'm usually holding the panel with my other hand, and even then I burn the hell out of my forearms.

I love this build. The bodywork style is all coming together now & looks great.

Absolutely. About 10 years ago I decided to consider Social Security as a bonus if I ever get anything out of it.... I don't plan on it being around when I am Greg's age.

Finally realized I have been going about this all wrong. I don't need bulges, I need boxes.
