Stripes are on, cut and buff is done, and car is back in my shop. I had envisioned the stripes being a tad darker than my base color, but it wouldn't work out that way. They are a pearl and binder mix, layed over my base. At certain angles they go away, and at other angles they are there. Exactly what I was looking for. Some will like them...some will not. Anyway, I have a pile of new parts to bolt on this thing. It's a sprint to the finish line at this point. I'd love to drive it this fall. Got my new grille assembled and installed this evening.
