Gregg- I plan on hosting another one of the events of testing & tuning again maybe in early April.. Maybe you can make it to that one.. Now get all the details done & start getting some miles on her!

Bringing in the Pozzi's for tuning is the best thing we could have done.. I know my limits to building a car.. Suspension tuning is something that I needed help on .. I learned more in one day from working with them.. Mary driving the car @ RTTC is an advantage towards the last of the tuning before we ship it home.. She e-mailed me a list of the last things we need to do to get the car closer to its final limits of suspension tuning..

Todd is just jealous because Mary was luving the brakes & did not have any have any piston knock back issues!:D

did you powdercoat or paint the trim? Any chance you can get some closer shots of it too?

We had all the trim powder coated @ first.. but had to much orange peel to it.. so we block sanded over the powder coating & painted it again to match the rest of the exterior black on the car.. The powder coating is great for paint to stick too..

I have been really sick for the last couple of days so was not able to make it to RTTA.. The owner was very considerate & said.. Don't worry about.. stay home get well & I will Take my Mustang & have fun... Get the some more tuning in for RTTC..

I really wanted to be out their guys but this flu has been kicking me in the azz!

Tell your customer to bring his rain coat and his rain & tires I will have to give all that MEXTEX FAJITA to who every show up!!! was looking to the car in person. Man it has not rain here in a year we have had more rain in the last two week then all last year.:P :P :P :P :rofl:

AmericanAuto-X Event
 

This weekend we drove Blu Balz out to Central CA to the AmericanAuto-x event @ the Marina.. I had a lot of fun @ this event watching & learning from people that have been doing this for a long time..

We also stretched the Camaro’s legs by driving from Oxnard to Salinas.. Car now has another 400 miles of straight driving without any problems on the road.. We got to the event.. let some air out of the tires.. registered & put a number on the side of the car then got in line to start getting some runs in.. Mary was quick to point out the issues we were having with the car.. We managed to get thru our 5 runs in the afternoon fighting the small issues…

After the event on Saturday we drove back to Mary & Dave’s house so that I could do some wrenching on the car.. We tried something that I thought that might help.. but considered it a long shot.. but the one thing I enjoyed of going over to the Pozzi’s shop was all the cool car’s they have .. Some racing history in that shop.. Also got to meet Mike Maier & talk shop with him.. Great person with lots of suspension knowledge.. I have never seen anybody make suck quick suspension adjustments like Mike..

This morning we got to the event with the same small issue going on.. I need to replace the rack n pinion tomorrow morning.. put more negative camber in it & widen the front track.. the car was pushing like a dump truck.. Like I said!! I learned a lot this weekend.. I even got Brian Hobaugh behind the wheel with Mary riding shotgun!

Blu Balz is an incredible car. Not only it is about the best looking Camaro ever, it drives really nice and is FAST. For a new car, you have it really close. Thank you for the opportunity to let me take it on the course today. Hopefully, my input will help. You have a great driver and tuner in Mary helping you out.

I was planning on it Greg! Then I found out that it was the same week as my son's spring break, and they want to go snowboarding.
