DG,

Maybe you covered this already and I missed it...did Jake build the control arms specifically for your car with those monster meats up front?

Well kinda. Our game plan has been to mimic his AIX 2nd gen car he ran for 3 years before selling to Vinny. I am trying to not reinvent any wheels or be a pioneer at this point. Almost all specs and tuning will be derived from that 2nd gen.

Took this quote above from Stielow's thread and I try to follow it every day. Most of the crap is not post worthy but it moves the chains forward.

2 little but important things for instance I've been working on (researching, calling and emailing about, etc) lately are the spark plug cooling holes found in Bowtie/SB2 blocks but not the aftermarket blocks. Most, but not all, drill these holes into the block at a 7 degree to help with detonation.

Also looking at running a vacuum limiter/regulator and installing on my intake valley plate or the valve cover to LIMIT my vacuum for street driving. The Weiss 6 stage pump is a vacuum pulling monster and too much vacuum can be a problem on the street.

I did score this set of 7 Nascar I-Core oil lines off ebay last week. Near mint condition, some of them barely look they were used. Probably paid 25 cents on the dollar for this batch vs new.

Very cool to be able to have that JRS track car as a baseline tune.

Glad you included that Stielow quote. Smart advice that's good to keep in front of gearheads.

Nice, more great deals on the NASCAR stuff you find. You don't follow the trends...you set them. :unibrow:
