Ironworks is an outlet for me to get my "vision" turned into reality. My problem is: I want to to it all myself, however, I don't have the tools (yet). For now, I'm sticking with Ironworks. Talk to Rodger.... he works on Camaros (when he isn't working on Novas!!!!!!!).

HAHAHA Naw I cant give up! I just bought a TON of new parts. If anything its builders like this that are willing to share pictures and info that keep us garage guys going. I cant wait to see more pics. Rodger and crew are doing a awesome job!

Thanks! I'm not sure Rodger was initially supported this idea, but he likes it now. And besides, as long as Tracey likes it, I like it!

I'll post more trunk lid mods later today.

I give it a two

More Trunk Lid Fabrication!

The original trunk seal obviously wrapped around the original trunk opening. Since the trunk lid was cut into two pieces (main lid and vertical section), a new thrunk opening had to be created.

Here is a pic of the new opening:

It was fairly easy to cut off the vertical portion of the lid, but then the underside needed a lot of attention. Brycen to the rescue!!!! Check this out. He made it look like stock (and its not even done yet):

Here is a pic of the trunk lid in-place. The missing section is where the spoiler will go. The spoiler will be part of the skin, not just attached on top:

This last pic shows the spoiler fabrication in process:
