Thanks- The fit was ok once I relocated all the card board cuttouts with a sharp xacto knife and hot glue gun in the back for the push clips(3/side). The corner radiuses at the bottom of the door are a bit funky, not to difficult to get on, I had to add one extra sheet metal screw to hold the panel from bubbling out. You just have to make sure the big metro seal ends at the top ends are tucked in tight at the top of the panel. I used the Pre-asembled standard front panels from Ricks, you may want to go for the platnum edition for 30 bucks more. On mine across the top surface its a bit wavy, I heard the platnums are stuffed nicer and the pleats look a bit closer to the originals.
Ive probably said it a million times, the repro stuff just sucks athough I guess we should be happy we have it. It all has to be massaged in one way or another. Perhaps its me but it seems like the quality is getting worse. This is a good one, the repro window cranks dont fit on to the repro regulator shaft. Something as simple as a bore diameter they cant get right. You cant just stuff a drill bit in it since there are key ways on each side of the bore, so out comes the die grinder, and once again your cutting metal as well as the splines being a sloppy fit. Enough rant for now, I wish all manufacturing would come back to this country.
